Rated 4 out of 5 by gflo2588 Great Shoe Requires Long Socks
Probably the lightest shoe I've owned yet. I would say lighter than most running sneakers out there.
They look great and the bumpy green soles are very comfortable. It's like getting a foot massage all day long.
The laces are elastic like and will stretch which is a nice added feature when your tightening you laces.
I've had them for about 2 weeks now and noticed that you have to wear long socks with this pair of shoes otherwise the back of your heal will get rubbed raw. This is not a problem for me considering I wear this pair of shoes to work and short socks would look weird if my pant leg were to rise.

Rated 5 out of 5 by BeanyBucks Light and comfortable
My wife didn't like the looks, but I did. Very light and comfortable. Great for summer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by evaporatorz Very comfortable, like you're only wearing socks
Extremely light and ventilated to stay cool. The stretchy laces keep a balanced and even snugness from toe to top. The only improvement I can think of is to add black to the color choice for this dressy casual shoe.

Rated 3 out of 5 by TucsonTed Shoes run very narrow
These shoes were so narrow that I had to return them. I have always worn medium shoes, but the toe box in these was very tight. I would have gone up a half size, but they don't make a 12-1/2, and a 13 would be way too large.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Goldenoldieplus Nice, but blisters...
I like Rockports. I've worn them for many years.
I bought these shoes a couple of months ago. Overall, I like them for wearing around the house. They are light weight and good looking. The stretchy laces are kind of neat and the bumpy inner soles feel good.
However, they are uncomfortable for long walks. They don't give much support and my feet start aching after a mile long stroll on sidewalks.
The worst problem though is they cause heel blisters. There is a lateral seam around the heel connecting two types of materials. Therein lies the rub. If you magnify the picture of the shoes and look closely at the heel, you can see the seam.
Wearing thick socks prevents the heal problem. But the shoes are tight and uncomfortable.
Wish I could give them a better rating.

These are fantastic shoes. They certainly qualify as the lightest pair of shoes I've owned. THey are also incredibly comfortable and stylish, which is a plus.
The only downside I would note is they do not fight water too well. It gets right in through some of the vented holes in the shoes, making these shoes a suboptimal choice for rainy days. But they're incredibly comfortable, look great, and definitely worth the buy.
