Since I have found reviews from others so helpful, I decided to begin adding my own comments. I bought this skirt in both the khaki and olive colors. My usual size is a 12 and I am about 5'10". I have a terrible time finding pants and shorts that are long enough in the rise and that don't give me that muffin-top roll at the waist so I resort to wearing skirts in summer. This skirt has an easy fit at the waist and allows me to even tuck in a shirt comfortably. I really appreciate the fact that is doesn't have a kickpleat in back -- much more modest and age-appropriate. As a reference for length, the skirt hits me about an inch and a half above the knee. I am not a fan of drawstring waists, but since the waist is not elasticized the tie in front is not a major issue with how the skirt fits. Easy wash and wear; however, I never dry anything with cotton in the fabric list.

Style is flattering -thx for not making too short. Bit of stretch makes it comfortable. Agree with Pittsburgh reviewer who mentioned buttons fall off quickly - my experience too. Love neutral colors.

This skirt runs HUGE! I ordered a size 10 and the actual waist measurement on it is 33 inches, not 29 1/2 as it says on the size chart. I'm going to send it back and exchange it for a size 8, keeping my fingers crossed that it will be small enough!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Southwestgal Super, comfy, pretty skirt!
I have this skirt in every color. I can't say enough good things about them! I really love the styling, the colors, and the fit. They're perfect!
It's easy to wear, a good length, and the colors are as pretty in person as they are on the computer. I like to wear the skirts with blouses or tee shirts. They look nice with sandals or flats.
They wash well. They dry quickly in a medium dryer. The colors stay true and they keep their crisp lines.
I've never been a big fan of skirts, preferring pants and capris. Now I wear these skirts and I get compliments every time.
I love my cargo skirts!

Run don't walk, to buy this skirt. I see that it is sold out in the smaller sizes, or I'd order another in a different color. It is a nice design- not clingy but not at all baggy, casual but looks nicer than shorts, very versatile. (I did cut the drawstrings off as I rarely tuck tops in and they make a bump under knit tops.) I bought the Dusty Olive and hoped it wouldn't be too green, and it is great: reads more gray than green.

I purchased this skirt last summer. It is a great skirt in terms of style and material. I love that the style is different than what I see at most stores. The material has a little stretch to it which is a good thing at times. However, the skirt does get bigger by the end of the day. I ended up exchanging for a smaller size after 2 wears. The reason I didn't give more stars is because the buttons easily come unsewn. Last summer, I was lucky enough to catch 2 before they completely fell off. However, I just lost 2 others. The skirt came with one replacement but LL Bean doesn't stock replacement buttons for the skirt so I'm out of luck for the other lost button!!!

Wish it came in a petite length as I am 5'2" it is too long. Would buy more colors if it was shorter, not worth the expense to have several shortened. Good value.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Blizzardj Fantastic Skirt!
I love wearing skirts all summer long vs. crop pants or shorts. I tried this skirt on and instantly fell in love with it. It is a little longer length, which is hard to find and also very flattering on. I can see this skirt being at the top of my summer wardrobe pieces this year. It was an excellent purchase on my part!

Really like the look and construction of this skirt. It is so comfortable to wear. I was concerned when I read some reviews about the buttons fell off when first worn. But I did not have that problem. Love the skirt!

Rated 3 out of 5 by NewEnglandPreppy This is a COTTON skirt
The skirt is beautiful, and I love it in every way, EXCEPT IT IS COTTON (99% cotton, 1% spandex). It is advertised as "ripstop fabric," that is great for adventure weekends. I was expecting nylon. Normally, I would prefer cotton to nylon, but this time I was purposefully shopping for a non-cotton, quick-dry skirt. I find the wordplay with the fabric frustrating, and I wish they had just said it was ripstop cotton. Complaining about the fabric aside, it's a great skirt. It looks great, and the fabric is sewn with a ripstop pattern. It fits well, has a good feel, has a lovely color, and has lots of good pockets. It's loose enough to allow free movement, so I like that it doesn't have a revealing kick pleat. I'll actually end up keeping it. But if you're looking for a nylon skirt...umm...this one is cotton. I'm between sizes but heavier on the bottom, so I sized up and will wear it slung on my hips. It fits well this way.
