This is an awesome chair. It is very well constructed and compact. I bought the Helinox Chair One for my boyfriend. He travels on megabus from Alabama to visit me in Texas about once a month. There are often long layovers in places with no where to sit for hours. When he took the chair out of his carry on bag at the first 4 hour layover after receiving the chair, all the other people waiting thought it was awesome. The joints and seat cover are sturdy and well constructed. It only takes a few moments to assemble or disassemble. He has only used it on flat surfaces so not sure how stable it is in a camping situation. He loves it! Worth the extra money compared to other chair reviews I looked at before this purchase.

This is a really great chair. It was exactly what I wanted in a lightweight chair. It is really comfortable even at my 74 inch height. I even let a friend try it out (230 lbs) and it was plenty strong. I purchased it with a 20% off coupon that reduced the $99 price to a more reasonable $79 - the same as comparable lightweight chairs on the market. This chair is superior to the others in size, height, and comfort.

Rated 4 out of 5 by dirtylew04240 Comfortable
This chair is extremely comfortable. The only drawback is that you have to have perfectly flat terrain in order to use this. The feet are rather skinny and if you are on a surface that isn't flat, you will tip over. Getting past that issue, comfort is what you always strive for in a chair. It is extremely portable and sets up and takes down in a snap. I highly recommend this product!

Loved the fact that these chairs are so light weight but they were not comfortable. You sit too close to the ground and lean too far back which make them hard to get out of. Also the legs won't work at the beach.

I bought this chair to use on a Boundary Waters canoe trip. We had many portages on this trip. The others dragged their big chairs along outside of their backpacks. Mine fit easily into my backpack. It is easy to assemble and comfortable. In addititon to using it as a camping chair, I plan to take it to use for outside concerts and parades. It is so light and easy to carry!

Rated 5 out of 5 by SAM1914 very clever
This is a very clever, very light chair. The design is innovative & it seems well made.
The only caveat is the chair is rated for 275 #. I weigh 240 and I fit in the chair but not to well. I haven't used it much so I don't know how it will hold up.
My suggestion is that if you are more that 200# it might not be the best for you.

This is a great chair that fits perfect in my Harley's saddlebag. Really very comfortable, easy to set up and use and folds up to a really lightweight and small package. This is great for the motorcycle and for camping. The only fault is that it does tend to sink into sand and mud. We use it a lot and would highly recommend it.

I thought the chair I've used for years was lightweight, but as I get older the chair seems to get heavier: then along came Helinox. Truly light weigh and comfortable. If I had a suggestion to make,it would be add a pound and raise the seat 3" or 4" inches. So far it's a little stiff (tight) fit to assemble, but i imagine it will loosen up a bit over time.

I love this chair. It is light and compact to tote around, easy to set up and break down, AND a comfortable seat. I worried that it might sit too low but I am just a tad lower than my husband sitting next to me in a typical umbrella chair. I will most likely buy another one to have a set.

Rated 5 out of 5 by IggyFisher Great, ultra-light chair
I am 6' tall and weigh 220 and this chair fits me just fine. It's light enough to take anywhere, even on short backpack trips, and sets-up and folds-up in about 30 seconds. It's strong and durable, and I like the little case that it comes in.
My wish list for this product is:
1) I would have liked the carrying case to have a shoulder strap,
2) It sits closer to the ground than the picture alludes to, and you tend to sink in a bit.
Neither of these things are negative enough to have me reduce my number of stars for a rating.
You can find this chair for a dollar or two less on other sites, but for the extra buck, I get the Bean money-back, no-questions-asked guarantee, and to me, that's worth much more than a dollar or two. I am completely satisfied with this chair.
