Rated 5 out of 5 by Gardenhoe Great chair
Love this chair. Hesitant at first because of the cost. If it holds up I will be thoroughly convinced. Very to light to carry in a great case. Very comfortable, had some skeptics when camping, but when they would not get up, I knew they were convinced. Just bought another one for my husband. Hope to get great use from it

Rated 5 out of 5 by trufflefamily Extreme comfort, ultra lightweight -Gotta have it!
This chair is incredible. Super lightweight. We took it on a five-day hike & my tush was screaming "Hallelujah" at the end of each day. The back support as well as comfiness was amazing. It doesn't look like it would be durable, but we had guys sitting on it that were well in the upper 280 lb. range. It's very easy to put together & put away. This is a leisure seat so don't expect to be able to lean forward easily & do your cooking. The only other drawback we found was that the legs sunk down in one of the campsites that was soft. The two little feet came off when we pulled it out & had to be washed and slipped back on. Not a big deal. The other 10 hikers with us all agreed that the chair was well worth the $90 that I paid for it. This is the second chair I bought for our family and when I found L.L. Bean was running a 10% off sale & $10 coupon for next purchase made it much easier to spend the cash.

Rated 4 out of 5 by NYCskiMom Great compact, little chair!
The Helinox is a fantastic chair. We have both the Alite Monarch Butterfly chair and this one. There are pros and cons to both. This chair is much easier to get in and out of. It is free standing, unlike the Monarch. The main trade off is weight. The Monarch is lighter and more compact, although the difference is not that significant. The Helinox is about an inch or so longer and wider in packing than the Monarch. You can fully relax in the Helinox chair while the Monarch requires your own legs to be the third balance point. My husband prefers the sturdier Helinox, while I prefer the lighter Monarch. Both are great though. We use these at the beach as well. I was worried the skinny legs might sink right into the sand, but they don't. The chairs fit so compactly into our beach bag. They also can't be beat when you have to wait on a long line somewhere. Definitely worth the investment if you do a lot of camping and outdoor activities.

Rated 5 out of 5 by RIScouterandCamper Must have!
This chair was awesome! I would consider it a "Must have" if you are packing in but need something to sit on with back support. It keeps you off the ground and supported. It is surprisingly sturdy and very comfortable. I am so glad I purchased it.

We got this as a last-minute addition to my son's duffel bag for the 2013 National Boy Scout Jamboree. EVERYTHING had to go in the duffel - no exceptions. This chair is light, goes up in a jif, and is quite sturdy. And, it folds up smaller than a bread box. Excellent overall.

I've bought four different chairs looking for the right one, and this is IT! I needed one that was compact, light, and easy to set up to tie on to my saddle for all-day rides. This chair exceeds my expectations! I don't have to tie it on my saddle, because it fits nicely inside the saddle bag, and still leaves room in there for my shirt and vest. I also plan to use it for camping, back packing, and overnight canoe trips. The comfort of this chair is amazing....I could actually lean back and take a nap if I wanted. I will be buying three more for Christmas gifts for my riding buddies.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Garandman Excellent product
I wanted a chair that was light, strong and comfortable for motorcycle camping. The Kermit chair many riders use weighs almost 7 lbs and takes time to assemble. Some of the folding chairs weigh 10 pounds or more.
This chair is very compact, assembles very quickly, and is strong enough for 240 lb me. It's very comfortable as well, aslthough it does not have armrests like "camp" chairs.

Rated 2 out of 5 by cwcat smaller than expected
According to the specs this chair can hold up to 300 pounds and I bought it for a friend accordingly. It may hold the weight, but is way to small to fit the size of a person weighing any where near that much. For a smaller person, very comfortable. But it was not what I was looking for. I will be returning it.
