Rated 4 out of 5 by McHayden good enough to keep
I'm keeping these - they are comfy. But, the rise is a little high, and the legs are a little too wide to be stylish.

Rated 2 out of 5 by joemma legs too big
shorts fit well in waist, and leg length is good. But legs are far too wide. They look like shorts in style 10 years ago. Please, make leg width at least two inches narrower at hem. I'm returning these.

I purchased these shorts at the outlet in Nashua NH and I just love the fit as soon as I put them on. I hate shorts that go below your waist. I am always pulling them up. These shorts just move with you and do not cut into your stomach. I need to lost weight and these are so nice until I get to the weight I want to be. I hope they will never go out of style. They make you look thinner. The other shorts that are wider at the thigh make you look heavier. Love these shorts.

Rated 1 out of 5 by beekeeper13 sizing
Just received these shorts yesterday. They are too tight. When I compare them to the same shorts I bought a month ago, the legs are one inch smaller and the waist is as well. I have bought multiple pairs of these shorts and pants, and have always been very pleased with them. However, I am disappointed that I cannot rely on the sizing. What's the deal with this?

Rated 2 out of 5 by LETITSNOW2 Very disappointed
I have purchased the twill shorts (black) in the past in 20W and loved the fit and coverage when seated. I was disappointed that the black color was no longer offered so I purchased the green twill. I am so very disappointed with the cut, fit, and look (nothing flattering) of my recent purchase. The inseam is longer, the shape/cut is more tapered, and the fabric bunches and puckers out in the center back below the waist band (which has never been a problem in the past). The fabric is nice and the color is OK. I will sadly send these back for a refund. I don't understand why companies have to make changes their popular, tried and true products.

Rated 2 out of 5 by LETITSNOW2 WHAT HAPPENED?
I have purchased these shorts in the past in 20W and loved the fit HOWEVER, I am so very disappointed with cut, fit, and look of my recent purchase. The inseam is longer (8 3/4" compared to 7 1/2"), the outer length from top of waist band to bottom of hem is longer (21 1/4" compared to 20") and the waist is wider (21" compared to 20 1/4"). The side of the shorts seems to taper in more from the hip to the bottom of hem. I will sadly send these back for a refund. I don't understand why companies have to make changes their popular, tried and true products. These will be sent back to LLB.

Rated 2 out of 5 by GauchoheartBearblood Is there such a thing extra high rise pants?
My normal size pant fit, the material was good quality and the color of the denim was dark and stylish. The only problem, the UNSTYLISH rise of the pants. They seemed to be EXTRA high rise pants. I prefer low rise. I accept mid rise on occasion. High rise pants....no thank you. These might as well have been called chest rise they went up so high on my petite torso.

Once again, the shipping was lightning fast, which I love! The color and material were very nice, but the legs are ridiculously wide. Unfortunately, I am sending back. : (

Rated 5 out of 5 by jeffsdate Run smaller than Baysides, but I love them
Until now, Bean's Bayside Twill shorts have always been the best fit for me, though they tend to be a little snug in the waist even when hips are fine. The Easy Stretch Shorts have more give in the waist, the fabric is softer, and they seem more flattering. Also, I love the soft green color. But I did have to go up a size in these. No problem; I just bought my 4th pair!

I have several pairs of LL Bean shorts which I enjoy. However, I wish they would either print or use another method of attaching the tags in the back. I have had several skin irritations caused by the tags rubbing. The tags are securely stitched in and are frustrating to remove.
