Rated 5 out of 5 by Tinybird Great suit!
After reading other reviews, I learned some people weren't happy about the underwire. I must say that is THE reason I ordered. The underwire is comfortable and adds the support needed that other suits don't offer. This suit is great looking, modest, and comfortable. Please keep some suits with underwire for the future. The regular suit has an ample cup size that most suits do not have. Since the suit just arrived, I haven't worn it in the water yet, but am hoping it will be as comfortable as it seems right now. Thank you!

Rated 5 out of 5 by BookSue I love this suit
I am 51 years old. I had decided a few years ago (after trying suit after suit - some were too young for me, others too old - I hate big flowers on a suit) that I would never wear another bathing suit ever again. I would go to the beach and sit in shorts and a tee shirt - and that's what I've been doing.
I am busty - I bought the D cup. Thank you L.L. Bean for realizing that those of us who are well endowed need support that a shelf bra just can't do. As I said I'm busty, but am much narrower below. This makes it very hard to find something that fits all of me. I've tried a two piece but just don't feel covered.
I bought this suit even with some of the negative reviews, opened the package and actually said out loud "I know this is going back." I put on the suit and it does everything right. I don't have a uni boob, it covers the flaws on my belly and while a little loose in the seat (I don't have much back there) it's a keeper! I'm going swimming this summer. Thank you L.L. Bean.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Murpwholovestees Sarong Tanksuit Floral bathingsuit is wonderful!
I just received the Sarong Floral Tanksuit bathingsuit in the beautiful hot pink/ black /violet/coral/etc. print. It's great!! I don't understand the other reviews being so critical. I wear an 18W and am B cup size with no waist to speak of and some ripples and bumps here and there.. I find the suit, complete with underwire, to be very comfortable, and to be long enough waisted (for a change#. I am 5'6 and not long waisted, but many bathingsuits are too short for me. I pull the conservative leg openings up just a bit, so the sarong can cover them nicely-- a little flirty-- adjust the top straps #what an improvement that is -- just like a bra); and I'm good to go. It holds my tummy in nicely, the bright print disguises lumps and bumps, and the sarong style is quite flattering! My only suggestion would be to lower the neckline just a bit in the center -- a bit of a V or an adjustable tie would be great -- and even more flattering with my small bust. It is on the conservative side but not dowdy . I'm 65 and spent my 20s and 30s in small bikinis and don't like dowdy any more than most women do. My husband even liked it on me, and that's hard to do!

I was excited to see L.L. Bean bring this suit back this season. I have one from several years ago and absolutely love it, best suit I've ever owned. This suit is definitely not the same, while it looks very similar, the "slimming" components and the underwire make it extremely uncomfortable. I actually order two, hoping that one would be more comfortable, but returned both. Please bring back the old comfortable version of this suit without the underwire support.

Rated 1 out of 5 by debl237 Did nothing for me
I had really high hopes for this swimsuit, but alas, it did absolutely nothing for me. I am large breasted with a short waist so was hoping that the sarong tie would give some illusion to me having a longer waist, but unfortunately it did not. Also, the cut on the legs although described as moderate, really fit me like granny panties (for lack of a better term). What I can say for people who have the same type build as I do, is I now have 3 of the swim dress suits in different colors and LOVE them, and I also just bought two of the tank and swim skirt separate bottoms and love those as well. LLBean makes fantastic swimwear, this one was just not the right one for my body type.

Rated 1 out of 5 by luvthecountry So disappointing
I have a suit similar to this style that I got from LL Bean several years ago. I love it so much that I have been watching the website for a couple of years now for a comparable suit to replace it as it is getting old. I was excited to see this suit this year. However when I got the suit, the bottom was too big and the top so small it was hard to breath in it. That almost never happens. Usually, it is the other way around with the top being too big and the bottom too small. Had to send it back. Did not order another size. Which way would I go? Also, I was definitely not crazy about the pattern on the material. Hope that LL Bean improves the fit and the colors for the next swim season.

Rated 2 out of 5 by CoolChick No Wire option please?
Can you please give us the option of no underwire? I've been looking for a suit like this, but I'm not going to buy this one until you give us an option. Thanks

I would only recommend to someone who wants an under wire suit.
Thank you so much for bringing back this suit! It slims, it flatters, it covers and it looks elegant. I've been waiting about three years for this suit to come back. Now can you also bring it back PLEASE with out the under wire? I bought one a few years ago and would love to have another one or two! The one I have now does not have the under wire and it it so comfortable FOR ME!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Sundiva great floral print suit
love the print & suit quality but....need swimwear with underwire for support of busty women. Soft cups just don't hit it for me. Would also like to see more print options in bright colors. Will no longer buy swimwear w/o underwire support.

Rated 4 out of 5 by SwimmerLakeOntario Great suit but drab
I'm so happy you brought this suit back...it's so forgiving of figure flaws. I thought the floral was rather drab, however. I'd love to see a blue/green floral...If you do add the brighter floral, I'll buy it in a heartbeat.
