This is a great "Little Black Dress" for almost any occasion. I bought it in Petite Large (I am 5'4" and about 155 lb.) and it fits me beautifully, including the length, which is just below the knee. If you want a longer length, of course, go with the Regular. This dress sheds wrinkles, washes well (don't overdry...dry on low and take it out before it is completely dry and hang it). It is going on my next trip with me.

I bought this dress on a whim at the outlet store and am SO glad I did. After wearing it the first time on a scorching summer day I immediately came online to find another as it was comfortable, cool and flattering. My husband complimented this dress and that says a lot. I feel like I'm walking around in my favorite pajamas while looking thoroughly put together. It's amazing! So long yoga pants, helloooo summer knit dress.

I got this dress in navy with dots last year. It's gorgeous, soft, fits well and washes well. I would like to see more in solid colors; I have too many print dresses. Ideas: bright red, milk chocolate brown, forest green, sapphire blue. Would love this dress in these solid colors. Thanks!

I bought 2 of these dresses and went back for 2 more - they are the most comfortable dresses - I wear them for work and they look smart with a little bit of jewelry and a wedge heal. So comfy - I just wash and wear them - if they had all the colors in my size in stock I would have bought one in every color!!

This dress is very airy, and comfortable. I am 5'5" 135#, tried both the small and medium. I kept the medium. The small accentuated my 36B bust too much. The length is perfect in the regular. The neckline is not too revealing, even for modest me. I really like this dress. I see it being worn, not only in the summer, but also in the spring with a sweater/shrug to ward off any chill.

The itchiness at the waist band is the only drawback of this dress.
I love the black dress otherwise. It is very elegant and looks a lot dressier than the print ones. The fabric has the suitable weight and softness for summer. I disagree with some reviewers that the fabric is flimsy. The dress drapes nicely as it should.
Overall, the black dress creates a darling and alluring silhouette.

This dress is a very flattering shape for me (curvy hour-glass toward pear-shape) so I keep coming back to it. I bought this dress in one of the patterns earlier this summer and it was cute but a little too long. This time I bought a petite length and it's just right at the most flattering part of the knee joint on me and I am about 5'4". I wish the fabric were a bit more substantial. It's a bit clingy. With a busy pattern or in black, there is enough illusion to not matter much, but a lighter color would show a lot of lines and bumps. I bought one of these dresses a couple of years ago and the fabric is slightly thicker and it's held up well. I would be willing to pay more for a higher quality.

I own several of these dresses in different prints and have already posted a review about how much I love them. My casual blue-and-white one just went to Europe with me, packed like a dream, was cool, summery and comfy for long days touring museums and dressed up nicely for dinner. The fancier seagrass print is my go-to choice for summer parties and wedding showers, and the black one shows off jewelry splendidly and works for three seasons. BUT after wearing these dresses for a while, I do have one complaint.
The dress fabric is wonderfully soft, but the thread used for stitching it is NOT. It's stiff, plastic-y and itchy so that the waistband and the seam under the bust are constantly prickly and annoying. I'm overly sensitive to itchy fabrics in general, so if you don't have this tendency, it won't be a problem for you. If you do, I've found that several washings help a little (and the dress washes very nicely). I often put a camisole underneath to cope, which also helps with the open neckline that many find too revealing. But when it's too hot for a cami - like today - I notice all day long that I keep tugging the waist of the dress away from my skin. Am thinking about running home at lunchtime to put a cami on, but it's so darned hot!
Manufacturers often make this mistake with sewing thread and ruin the comfort of otherwise wonderfully soft garments. Surely there are sewing threads made to be as soft as the fabric they stitch together - I wonder why they aren't used?

This is the most comfortable and wrinkle resistant dress I have ever owned. I was wearing this dress when I fell and ended up in the emergency room over night . I slept in the dress and when I left the hospital the next morning with a cast , the dress still looked great. I was so pleased that I bought another one several weeks later. Best fabric ever!
