by IrishEyesareSmiling Quality Indeed!
My husband and I purchased two of these counter-height chairs to go with the counter-height bistro table last season. We are now on season two and absolutely love them so much that we purchased two more to add to the set. I believe that these are indeed built to last a lifetime. We left our set on our back verandah all winter long through the four seasons including the VERY hot sun, rain, snow, and freezing temps, and sure enough it is durable enough to weather the elements year-round as advertised. Additionally I love that LLBean made this in AMERICA and that it is entirely made from recycled plastic containers! Our plan is to purchase the Garden Bench and the Garden Chair for another area of our land. Quality indeed! And Yes those are LLBean's oversize throw pillows added for comfort!

Rated 4 out of 5 by TOMinFLORIDA Nice Chair - but tedious to assemble
Chairs are great once you get them together... specifically the tool that is provided only allows 1/5 turn intervals and just does not work well for installing the screws where the back joins the legs. Save yourself time and a lot of frustration, get an Allen wretch set with pivoting head which will allow for 1/2 turn interval installation. You would think for $300 a chair (which I have 4), the proper tools would be provided.

We saw the Bistro set of which this chair is a part of in the Freeport store last summer. As soon as we arrived home I tried to order the set online but couldn't find it. I called Freeport and they arranged to have it delivered. Amazing customer service!
This set looks good but the chairs are also comfortable. Sitting up high seems to keep bugs from flying around your ankles, which is an extra perk. We enjoyed it last summer and early fall and I can't wait to enjoy it again this year.
We wondered if the color would match two LLB all-weather adirondack chairs we had purchased at least 14 years ago because we never put the adirondacks away. Well there is little if any difference and those chairs have been out in the elements for the last 14 years! We live in northern NH so the chairs are covered with snow for most of the winter and reappear in the spring when the snow melts. They've stayed as good as new in winter temperatures as low as -30F. They also sit in the sun all summer.
If you're looking for a well made outdoor bistro set I'd snap this one up, just realize that it will most likely out live you. :)
