These shoes fit and feel like a pair of comfortable slippers. They do have a good sole and arch support for walking, but not something you would go hiking in. I ordered down a half size, as I have done with other shoes at times, and the fit was right. So, I would say that these shoes run a little bigger and wider than usual. I have no problem with the straps and their velcro.

I'm very happy with these shoes. When I stand in them, my toes feel as though they're higher than my heels, which feels strange at first but is easy to get used to. The shoes are comfortable and have good arch support. I've been wearing them with no socks and haven't had any blisters or sore spots. I was able to try these on in the store before ordering them, so I knew what size fit best: I'm usually a 9, but I ordered these in 8.5, and they're just right. (I tried on a 9 in the store, and it felt big and sloppy. The store didn't have the color I liked in 8.5, which is why I ordered them online.)

These shoes are lightweight and fit like a glove. They have an arch support that seems to mold to my feet. I knew they would be stylish, be didn't anticipate the amazing comfort too! I only wish they came in a rainbow of colors and I'd get them all!

I was looking for a pair of flexible, mesh Mary Janes for summer, and these aren't them. I am a standard 8 in all types of shoes, except my running shoes, which are 8.5. I ordered these in an 8 and they are at least a half size too big. The strap also can't be tightened beyond a limited point, because the velcro doesn't extend far enough. (Other mary janes I've worn from another manufacturer have velcro straps that accommodate wide and narrow feet, because the velcro (on both sides) extends almost the entire strap). Finally, I found the shoes stiff and uncomfortable, just trying them on. Love most Bean products, but not these.

These shoes with a medium width were far too wide.I would be ok with putting in an extra inner sole but they were still too loose.
I was only unhappy with the fit not the actual style or quality

The shoes are very comfy and sturdy. The strap velcros but is a little big for my foot when wearing no socks. I plan on extending the Velcro to accommodate socks and sockless feet.

These were very cute shoes and I really wanted to keep them but I did end up sending them back. I wore them around the house and the toe area was very roomy which I appreciated because I have a wider foot. As I was wearing them, I kept thinking that there was an incrediably high instep and it was causing me pain. I finally took them off to look at this really high instep only to see that there really wasn't an instep but the shoe was really narrow in the middle section.
