Rated 4 out of 5 by Smallactivewoman Really Great Fit!
My Coveside sweater, in navy, arrived today. As has been the case with all my LL Bean purchases so far, it fits to the measurements indicated. I am 5', 110 lb. and the x-small fits perfectly. I normally order a petite size, but wanted a slightly longer sweater, and this comes just to my hip, not below-perfect! The navy, for me,is a basic, and I am so glad LL Bean carries so much choice in that colour. Looking forward to pairing it with khaki pants, skirt, cropped pants,jeans....

Rated 5 out of 5 by hawksfansarah Gorgeous sweater, but runs small
I'm 5'6", 140 lbs. I usually wear a size 6 and a Medium.
In this sweater, the Large is a perfect fit.
Weight is good, design is excellent, quality is nice.
I bought the sweater in gray, which is cute, but I wish was a bit darker.
TTS is one size up in this design. Layering would require two sizes up. Hope that helps!

Very attractive sweater, also very warm but runs small. I normally take a medium in Bean's sweaters, but ordered up to a large and it just fits, is a bit snug over a blouse. I hope there will be no shrinkage when it is washed. The sleeves run a bit short if you wanted to turn the cuff's back. The styling is very attractive.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Reviewer693 Order One Size Up
This sweater in an extra small fits smaller than the other LLBean sweaters I've ordered in an extra small. I returned the sweater, and unfortunately a size small was not available. However, the quality is good, and the weight is ideal for mild spring weather.

I LOVE that LLBean makes beautiful cable-knit sweaters in cotton! So hard to find. I ordered this in gray, XS. (I'm 5'5", 117 lbs.) It fits very much like Signature line sweaters I have in XS (and smaller than Bean's traditional XS size). It's more fitted and shorter in the body than the XS Bailey Island Crewneck Pullover, but is very similar to the XS Signature Cotton Fisherman's Sweater. Also, the one I received is very much a crew neck (collar covers my collar bones and goes up to the base of my neck) - the photos make it look more scoop neck, which I wasn't that into, so I was very pleasantly surprised. I love the cable pattern, the buttons are adorable, and the sweater is a nice mid-weight. It just feels so well made.

I just got my sweater today it was so nice. This is a sweater that everyone needs for year around wear. During the summer at night when you take a stroll and its nice with a cami under or in that restaurant that cranks up the air to high. I love it so much wish I could have all the colors.

I love this sweater! I have it in navy, and I like the colour, the fit, and the cable-knit design. I also like that it's cotton and washable. I'm going to order another in natural.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Ashevillian Fit is off compared to other LLB sweaters
I purchased the "Ember" in a size medium after reading through the reviews and hearing frequently that this sweater runs small. I'd need a large in order to fit a shirt underneath.
The sweater is well made, thick cotton yarn in a nice cabled pattern, buttons are not just decorative and actually do function. My issue is that it really is quite small, not just tight, but short arms and a weird clingy waistband that just isn't flattering on me.
The "Ember" colour turned out to be a strange day-glo salmon that looked just awful on me. Back to Freeport it goes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by steelerfan500 Love this sweater
I received this yesterday and love it! I have not washed it yet but plan to let it hang dry and wash in cold water like the rest of my tops to avoid shrinkage. The sweater is a nice heavy type cotton and I love that the knit pattern goes all the way around the back. It is the perfect length and just large enough to allow light layering underneath it. I can't wait to pick up another color!
