Rated 4 out of 5 by TransplantedMidwesterner great skirt poorly made
I really like this skirt: the fabric, the fit, the pockets and the style. However, I have ordered it twice and both times there were sewing flaws that required returns. On one the hem was twisted sideways when it was sewn so that it didn't sit flat, and the other had a badly puckered seam where one side of the seam had more fabric than the other.
I will order two this time and hope that one of them will be first quality.

I kept this skirt because I wanted something other than denim and I liked the details (pockets and topstitching). However, the hem is curved and faced, not turned, so you could never lengthen or shorten it easily. Also, the fabric does need ironing and hangs unevenly, just like in the photo, where the seams pull up on the hemline. The hook and eye on my skirt also detached after the try-on, but the zipper holds the skirt together with no problem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Blighty My favorite skirt
This is my favorite skirt of the moment.
It is very soft and hangs well. I have not had particular problems with wrinkling either and I have worn it three times in a row!
Love it!

This is the most comfortable skirt I have ever owned - and I wear skirts every day. I am tall (5'10") so I went up a size to wear it on my hips rather than waist, to get the extra length. Please make skirts in Tall! You can usually shorten a skirt without too much trouble, but you just can't make it longer! The materials hangs and flows well. I'm glad it has pockets. It looks nice enough to wear to work, but also nice on the weekend. I'd wear this skirt every day if I could! Thank you LL Bean!

Rated 4 out of 5 by momto3jgl Great Summer Skirt!
The length is great; just below the knee. Use the measurement chart - I usually wear a size 8 in jeans, but my measurements were a size 10, so that is what I went with and it is the correct size. I love the pockets which many women's skirts do not have. It can be dressy or casual. The denim is just dark enough to be a dressier "jean" skirt.
Great product!

Fantastic skirt. I bought this skirt in black and loved it so much I purchased the blue as well. Very comfortable and didn't wrinkle on a flight to Austin. Highly recomended!

Rated 2 out of 5 by el13207 Not for me
Thought I'd love this skirt, but when it arrived it wasn't for me...very thin fabric with very little body so it didn't hang nicely on me or flatter me in any way, plus I disliked the contrasting stitching. Oh well, back it goes!

Rated 3 out of 5 by macgirl Cute but not well made
This is a really cute skirt but it doesn't appear to be very well made or maybe I just got a reject. The hook and eye closure broke within 2 hours of me wearing the skirt. In addition, there are little bits of stitching coming apart in various parts of the skirt. I can fix the above problems but shouldn't have to at the price I paid. I am 6'0" tall and the skirt comes right to my knee cap. I have an extremely difficult time finding jean skirts that are at a modest length so I'm pleased with the look of this one. I like the lightweight material but a lining would have been nice, as it is see-through and I will need to wear a slip.

Rated 1 out of 5 by FionaMacD wrinkles!!
I buy a lot of my clothes from LLBean.
This skirt wrinkles unbelievably, even after washing (as suggested as the colour rubs off) and ironing it wrinkled hanging in the closet. Also you have to fool with the waistband to try to get the front and back even.
Am returning, but have ordered the denim skirt, which wasnt a choice when I got this one. Am sure it will be better, as the quality of most LLBean goods is great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by peachtea good purchase
This worked so well, I bought it in both colors. It's not tight over the tummy but doesn't have a lot of excess material, either. And it's a good summer length, too: I'm 5'7 or so and it hits low at the knee, but doesn't feel too long as it swishes. The fabric is very soft, though the down side of that is that it doesn't have much body, and it has a bit more sheen than I would like. And it needs ironing after washing. But, all in all I'm glad I bought it.
