Great design, seems comfortable, but for a round foot. They are cute, love the rear entry strap, but fits a rounder foot than my kids'. Too bad. Maybe the new ones fit slimmer or flatter?

Rated 4 out of 5 by RelyOnLLBean True to Size? Too Big? Too Small?
I listened to all the other reviews and ordered a size down for my daughter who is 11 years old and in a size 6 youth/adult. I find that many of the size 6 youth will fit her perfectly too although we occasionally find the size 6 youth is small, depending on the brand. She is currently wearing a size 6 in the LLBean Mountain Comfort Mocs.
Thus, when the size 5 arrived in this sandal, it was way too small - her toes touched the top. Returned the size 5 and ordered the size 6. The 6 was still too small albeit her toes were almost touching the top of the shoe. Returned those too. I would say these run a little on the small size.

I love how durable these sandals are! My husband and I have the adult version and we wear them all the time. The only problem is that they are difficult to get on my son's foot. Once they are on, they are wonderful!

We have purchased these sandals for our son the last 3 summers. Love them! He lives in these sandals all summer and is very active with them. They wash easily too. I do wish they came in a wide width though. I cannot purchase them for our daughter because she has wide feet so I buy Keens for her (but would rather buy the LLBean sandals) Hint, hint LLBean...make the Explorer Sandals in wide width :) Also, I find the Explorer sandals are easier to put on than the Keen sandals.

Great for camp and climbing rock at the beach, as the closed toe protects the feet, but they have plenty of ventilation like a sandal. They also do well when wet!

Got a blister of some kind on my little one's pinky toe - the top of it which was a strange location. Sizes seems to run a little long. COuld have been a fit issue, but we had to return them (actually, they are in my car I need to get to the store).

First time I have ever been disappointed with shoes from LLBean. Both of my kids ended up with blisters on the side of the arch of their feet.

Rated 1 out of 5 by mimigram water/sand shoes for granddaughter
Planning on returning these. There are rough and bulging seam areas on the interior of the shoes and my granddaughter had blisters on her arch and side of foot after an hours wear!
Very disappointed. Outsourcing has
not benefitted the purchaser of Bean Products in most recent years. Some fabrics inferior...not like the old reliable products I am familiar with. I bought her quite a few outfits and shoes the other day and am not as pleased as in prior years. I have 14 grandchildren and 7 married children and do not purchase as much as in prior years from Bean's.

Rated 5 out of 5 by RunningMomma Great Little Shoes!
I purchased these shoes in 2 consecutive sizes & decided to keep both pairs! They do seem to run a little big, but other than that, my daughter loves them. These are perfect for school, hiking, anything!

Rated 4 out of 5 by 2scoutmom great summer shoe
this is a great summer shoe that my kids love. They don't have to worry about ties comming undone and tripping and there are air vents to help keep down on the sweaty feet problems. Love em!!! The reason for four stars is the length and width. They are a little wide and long but it could be just my children's feet
