Just got them. The fit, fabric, and style are complementary. The white is not too bold, rather a soft white. The style of pant might suit a taller frame due to the cut of the flared pant leg. Pants can be difficult to size correctly and I love it when they look as cute as these do.

These fit perfectly! I am so impressed! They are just the right length and fit well at the waist.
The quality is great - not too stretchy and neither too thick nor too thin. Just right!
I did not find that they are wide-legged as some other reviewers did. I ordered the Dark Indigo, and they are a true flaring cut: wide at the ankle, smaller at the knee.

LLBean you're incredible! Seriously, I'm serious. I LABORRRRRRRRRRR OVER BUYING JEANS. I hate buying jeans. I'm 5'3, weigh 108lbs and have long legs. It is extremely hard for me to find jeans that fit and don't make me look like I'm trying to look like a teenager. When I do find them they stretch out after awhile and I have to take them in. These jeans are PERFECT. I LOVE THEM. I got a size 2 and they FIT PERFECT, PERFECT, PERFECT. Honestly, I never thought of buying jeans from LL(can't try them on beforehand) but this worked out beautifully. THANK YOU SO MUCH. I love LLBean.

I bought the white ones in size 4. The waist is not too small, and the butt is not too big. The 33" inseam is fine if I'm not barefoot (32" is what I normally buy to wear with sandals). I'd buy them in gray, too, but they're not available in a 4 at the moment. :(

I read all the reviews and, despite some negatives, just couldn't pass up this price. I ordered my usual size and the fit is great. A little snug (but not tight) at first but, as jeans do, they warmed up and I wore them all day and loved them. The flare is just right. The length required a 2 inch heel for me but they would be easy to shorten if you needed too (I'm 5' 7"). If I asked LLB to change anything it would be to make the front pockets full size. They are only about 3" inside. Why bother having them? Buy these jeans! You won't regret it.

the jeans are beautiful, but the size guide is really off. I live in south america and I am a great fan of classic, us label jeans, which I had been buying from another brand. I switched to llbean for a try because of geat reviews, and followed the sizing guide, and got pants that are probably 3 sizes larger than necessary. Took my own measurements and based my size choice on the indicated inches around my hip. Im really dissapointed because I payed international Mail + very heavy local taxes in my country, which makes it ridiculous to return this item and another pair of jeans I got.
In any case the quality is beautiful so Ill take them to my tailor to see if they can be taken in.

I LOVE these pants! I bought these specifically based on reviews. I was looking for a wide leg pant, not a flare. I purchased them in the Dark Indigo and the White, which is really more of an off-white, not a stark white, with taupe stitching, which gives them a very well finished look. I am usually a 4 or a 6 depending on the cut of the pant. Again, based on reviews I sized down to a 4 and the fit is perfect. I am 5"8", 135 lbs., short-waisted with long legs, so on me the rise is perfect because it keeps the muffin top in check and the length is exactly right. I am not well endowed in the tush area and have toned, but not muscular legs so these fit with about 2 inches of extra width in the thighs and then flare out. I could not be happier with this purchase. Thank you LL Bean Signature!!!

Because someone said these jeans differ by color, and LLBean does say the fabric content itself is different for the different colors, this review speaks only to the federal gray. For a size 2, the legs were snug until the knees, then a true large flare, which is retro bell bottoms, not boot cut. Too young a style for me, though.

These would have been keepers if the inseam was infact 33". I ordered an 8 and a 10 in the grey. Definitely needed the 10, but the inseams on both pairs were short by more than an inch. Had to return. If you are between sizes in this line I suggest ordering the larger.

These jeans are very nice quality. I had read the reviews and ordered a size 6 due to the reviews of big legs. I am 120, 5ft 3 in. The length will need to be altered. I am not sure if i will keep these pants. The legs are very big, like from the 70s bell bottoms. The pictures do not seem like the same pants. They do not look like big legs on the model. I got the jacket that matches this and it is also very retro looking. It makes me wonder if this style is coming back???
