Sadly, the Vintage Green was much more green than the shade on-line,which seemed a soft aqua. BTW-- that aqua would be a good addition to the range of colors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Turbocat LL Bean Percale Sheets are AWESOME!
Though there were less than positive reviews about these sheets, I read a convincing review and tried them. I absolutely LOVE these sheets! They are smooth, crisp and cool, and reminds me of my bedding my mom and grandmother used! I'm slowly replacing my other pricey sheets that just do not compare to the these LL Bean quality! Thank you for offering top quality percale sheets!

Rated 2 out of 5 by ReturnedCtYankee Disappointing
This has been the only time I've ever purchased anything from LLB that I've been dissatisfied with. When the top sheet "ripped" apart at the top hem for about 5 or 6 inches a few months ago, I thought probably it was due to too much tugging or pulling. Although I loved the pattern, I decided to buy another solid colored sheet that would "go" with the bottom sheet, which I did. However, just last weekend I discovered that the bottom sheet had worn through about a 6" long area near the bottom of the sheet. It hadn't ripped, it was just worn through. I received the replacement bottom sheet this week and am hopeful that this set will last longer.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Troika Misrepresented color
I ordered the Lake color and it just came and it is actually light blue and looks nothing like the color depicted. I am sending this sheet back since if I wanted light blue I would have ordered light blue. I have not opened the package so I cannot comment on the quality. I am very disappointed because I really wanted this sheet in the color I saw on the internet. I even got back on the internet to verify the color I ordered and it did not look like the sheet I received.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Motchil WELL MADE-BUT WRINKLE BADLY
I bought 2 sets based on the Consumer Reports review. They seem durable, well made and feel crisp, BUT THEY WRINKLE VERY BADLY. I launder them with liquid fabric softener and a dryer sheet, but they still have to be ironed.
I would not buy them again because I hate to iron. I like the crisp feel and sturdiness, but for me it is not worth the work! If you think ironing is life fulfilling, then go for them! Otherwise, nix them!
I found a non-iron sheets at a competitor that are well made and need no ironing, but they are not as crisp. I wish LL Bean could make an easier care version of this sheet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Heucherella Almost like my mother's
For a couple of decades I have been searching for the current equivalent of the venerable, no longer available Wamsutta Supercale sheets, at a reasonable price. Although not made in the USA, these percale sheets are the closest I've found to have that crisp feel, particularly if I take the time to iron them (yes, really!). Try them if you prefer plain 100% cotton without a "satin" finish.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Ahpadm05 Great, but recently the fitted sheet ripped
Loved these sheets had them since 2011, but the fitted sheet just tore right down the middle, will be sending this back and hopefully the next one will last longer. I will admit that these are my favorite sheets so they were used probably more than the normal person would.

Rated 5 out of 5 by celeryheart Great Sheets
Not sure why some of the reviews are so "low" on these sheets because they truly are fabulous. These sheets are great for warm weather. Crisp, cool and smooth. They wash easily and if you fold them right away, they do not wrinkle. We hang dry in the summer and there is no fading from the the sun. Highly Recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by saramay same as ever-great
I buy ONLY L.L.Bean sheets because they are such a generous fit on present day deep mattresses. Whether they be plain or flannel, it's all the same. They wear forever and the flannel ones are so cozy warm, while the percale are cool in summer. I bought a set for my grandson's housewarming and although his fiancee almost fainted when she found out the price, I assured her they are worth every penny. In the past, when I thought I was getting a department store bargain, I was always disappointed. I had the pillowcases monogrammed for free(with my llbean visa card)and the kids loved it. And by the way, I can never understand when people complain about having to pay postage when they return things??? People, get an llbean visa card, then it's all free.

Rated 1 out of 5 by ChexInMail Terrible feel to fabric
These sheets feel cheap. They're slimy instead of soft. Touching them by hand didn't forewarn me. As soon as I climbed into bed, I jumped out. Then I mailed them back.
