I have a long torso and D cup. If I buy a D cup I have to buy a 16 to fit the long torso. Then the suit bags on me in the water. If I buy a long torso...my chest is over exposed. I bought the D cup in this and the body length is perfect. Normal size is 14 and I had to go to a 12D. It is very pretty on.

Suit, in black, distracts from figure flaws and drew kudos from spouse. It would be fine for sunbathing and minimal motion. The fatal flaw is chafing of the skin where the diagonal straps are positioned. I really wanted this suit to work. It was forgiving in back, concealing unsightliness there, too. Alas, I knew I would never wear it. When purchased, suit was full-price, offset by a coupon, since expired. LL Bean has always come through equitably, one reason for my decades of customer loyalty.

I saw some favorable reviews for the DD cup size. For me being a 38DD this suit does not offer the support and lift I need after having a baby. The suit needs either side boning or underwire to lift and separate the girls,especially given the high price. I love the polka dot print and the rushed front is super flattering. I'm 5'4" and I found the halter straps too long. I had to tie the straps up super tight. I'd recommend this suit if you are a C cup or smaller.

I had really high hopes for this one based on others' reviews. However, I was extremely disappointed. I'm not judging the "slimming" feature at all...my body doesn't necessarily need that feature. But, the bottom cuts into my bottom, making a bulge. I was also disappointed with the support I didn't have with this suit. My 36C chest didn't get help up and in like I had expected. And, no matter how tight I tried to tie the halter ties, I still had little to no support. Sorry L.L. Bean, this one just isn't a winner in my book.

This suit is really low cut and it leaves half my boobs showing no matter how tight I tied it. I wear a B cup and wonder if maybe a larger breasted woman would not have this problem, but I'm not sure. I returned it.

I just love this suit as I have a DD cup and this fits me, perfectly!! (even thou it is a D cup) Finding a well-fitting suit is so difficult, if not impossible for me. The print is gorgeous, I bought the coordinating cover up in bright blue. I am so very happy to have such a well fitting suit, so flattering, too. I am late '50's, 5' 9", 165 lbs. I am also buying the black print tank that also comes in a D cup size. I am sure that will fit perfectly, too...

I purchased this suit in solid black. I am 5'3" 150 lbs. I ordered a 14 and it runs on the large size with very generous D cup. Halter ties must be tied tight but are needed as tank style straps always slide off my shoulders.The butt is a little baggy but don't have alot back there. All in all a decent suit,nice camouflage if you've got a thicker middle.

I love the fabric, but the halter neck was very uncomfortable. I wish LLBean would bring back the previous style of this suit material.

I loved this suit when it had regular shoulder straps, and I wish LLBean would bring that one back. This one looks just as good on me, but I have to tie the neck straps super-tight to keep my chest from being exposed, which makes it super-uncomfortable.
