The corner seams are not consistently sewn -- only one has two rows of stitching and is still holding up after 7 months of use, one is about to bust, two have completely split. I frankly don't want the hassle of returning it, so I'll fix it myself, but I have to agree with the prior posters. This is a really disappointing product.

I'm usually a big fan of LLBean, but not with this product. I bought the fitted sheet thinking that the quality problem had been corrected. Not so. The fabric is flimsy, the gathering at the bottom sparse, the corner seams thin, and the size not accurate for just an average mattress. Very disappointed.

The pillowcases and flat sheet are of wonderful quality, feel, and look amazing. The fitted sheet however, it still the old product I would say. I've ordered two of the fitted sheets and they are both the same. They are not as thick, they are 'softer' than the flat and pillowcases, and the fitted starts to get fuzzy after just 2 washes.

This sheet was very expensive. It is good looking and comfortable, but started to fray after one wash. By the second wash, the fabric was splitting all over. I am VERY disappointed with this product. I am returning it and do not want to get a replacement. DO NOT BUY THIS.

We were happy with these sheets at first. Good fit and a high quality silky feel, however after about 10 washes (mild cycle) they have thin and weak spots that easily tear. I will be returning them.

We purchased a set of these sheets in June and now have to toss them out becasue they are threadbare and have holes in several places. Sheets should last longer than 8 months. These seemed flimsy and thin to begin with and the shadow part of the stripe has worn clear through.

Amazed that llbean is still trying to sell these sheets. Do not buy--they will be threadbare within a few months. I followed the care instructions to a "T." I buy a lot of things from llbean--but I won't buy sheets again. Luckily, with their guarantee, I was able to get my money back.

We ordered these sheets and were thrilled. They were extremely soft and comfotable and washed beautifully. I am giving them a one star rating because unfortunately they are not durable. I purchased these in January. In September the bottom sheet ripped. I blamed the dog - must have caught a nail on the sheet. I ordered a replacement sheet. Two months later the top sheet ripped. Not at the seam but about three inches below. I love the sheets but they are too expensive to replace once a year.

The sheet is wonderful just what you would expect of a 400 thread count. We have shopped at LL Bean for years because of the quality of their products!

Wow, I'm so surprised to read these reviews. I just went online to buy another set. I've had a set for at least a year......I love them. I get in bed and say to myself, I looooooove these sheets. They are so soft and cold....for those who understand. I went and bought extra pillowcases to use with my other sheets because they were so soft and cold. I haven't had any problems with tears, runs...they look as perfect as the day I took them out of the package. In fact, they have improved with age. Very strange that people are writing that theirs shredded. Perhaps a bad batch? I LOVE THEM. The one thing you can count on with LL Bean versus everywhere else...if they do shred or there is any problem with them at all, they will stand behind them and take them back or exchange them....making it totally worth it. I highly recommend these...if you like soft and COLD.
