Not quite what I expected. I ordered the coverlet in rose. In the picture, it looks like a bright, soft red. It is actually a softer, pinker color than pictured. The quality is very nice. I expected more of a bedspread weight, the queen size I ordered weighs 8 pounds! Will probably regretfully return it.

I love the weight, the color (blue is beautifully vibrant and clear!) and the quality of the material, but, following the washing instructions I found myself with a coverlet that has shrunk probably 5-6 inches. I will be returning it.

Just received this lovely bed topper.
The color is just what I wanted to match
the lovely quilt a friend made for us.
I've decided to use greens, purples, blues and other soothing colors to decorate the master bedroom.
This certainly fit the plan. Haven't washed it yet; but love it so far.

Read all reviews about shrinkage, color, quality, etc. and decided to order. The color did match what I saw online (good computer monitor maybe?), overall I like the item and am keeping it, BUT... the coverlet did shrink when washed - not enough to ruin the purchase, but it did shrink. I imagined 100% cotton would be softer, it feels more like polyester.

I got this bedspread about a year ago. It is hard to find bedding in lavender so when I saw this was offered in that color I had to have it. I love it! I like having a spread/'coverlet' that doesn't have all the batting that a comforter does. I have a king size bed and I can easily wash it at home rather than having to take it to a laundromat like I need to do with so many comforters because they are bulkier. This has been washed several times and has kept it's shape/size and color perfect. I would describe this as a year round weight. It is hard to describe the fabric, it is a heavy, thick dense cotton feel, yet at the same time I fine it just right for being lightweight enough for summer---although in the summer I do have the air conditioner and a fan on me at night. Normally I get tired of my comforters/bedspreads and want a change every 6 months or so...but I haven't tired of this one . It is very well made.

I appreciate that you make these Coverlets in the Full size. I bought this for an antique bed that has a custom made mattress that is a bit smaller than a double size---I cannot use a Full-Queen size quilt/cover or bedspread on this bed. The coverlet is beautiful and shows off the bed at its best. High quality material, good neutral design.

RED3 Leaf Matelassé Coverlet
Exactly what I was looking for! I needed something that would not go all the way to the floor do to our new bedframe. Fits a queen perfectly. Very nice quality. Not too light and not too heavy. Beautiful. :o)

I bought this in Queen size, lake color. It was beautiful, nice heavy quality, lovely detail. Then I washed it and it shrank so much in the width that it is no longer usable. The worst part is that I also bought 2 of the pincushion quilt shams to go with it, and now I don't have a coverlet to match.
