It does keep your food cold; haven't tried using it for hot stuff yet. It's the perfect size for a sandwich and a snack......basically a simple lunch. Love the bright Raspberry color as well. It's great to put a snack in when you're driving a distance. I would definitely recommend this one to any! Great for a kids snack in school. Or for an adult too! I will take it on my day trips when I want to sit at the beach for a few hr. and have a small snack there. For the sale deal, you Certainly can't beat this one! May 30, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5�by crazyaboutcatstoo very attractive but could stand to B 3 inch taller nice looking - I got the purple/black/white bag. logo a very nice touch. my only complaint: could stand to be 2.75-3 inches taller. You lose 2.75 inches when you fold it over to use the velcro closer. OR... I would even recommend putting the velcro on the INSIDE, so you don't have to fold over at all if you didn't want to January 17, 2013

Bean, but it's such a step down from the bigger ones that I thought it might be like the flimsy ones you can find at local stores. Not at all! My son wanted hot lunch sooo badly (yuk) and only needed a lunch box for snacks, so we opted to save and get this one. It's perfect for that. Size and flexibility would make me go for a larger, more rigid one for bigger lunches, but this is great for what we needed. August 7, 2012
