I have the corduroy version of this cargo jacket and LOVE it, so I thought I would try it in twill. I bought the navy blue one and every time I put it on, I look like a police officer! I think I'll return it for a different color. Also, wanted to comment on the drawstring-it's weird! It doesn't do anything and as another reviewer said, when you pull the cord to cinch it, the strings hang down almost to my knees! So I tied them around the waist which was a pain, but it didn't have a nice put together look. I think a little elastic in the back would be better around the waist than a drawstring-similar to the corduroy version which actually runs much smaller than this twill version. Besides that, it's a good quality construction, is comfy and is made well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by TheGardenLady A great jacket
I LOVE this jacket. The waist fit can be adjusted easily. I'm 5'1", 128 lbs. and it fits me with ease, but not bulk. It's comfortable and feels like an old favorite from day one. For warm weather, I like to roll up the sleeves part way. I've received compliments every time I wear it! The cargo pockets, which I would normally avoid like the plague, add style and eliminate the need for a purse if you just need to carry a few things like a cell phone and ID & credit/debit cards, for example. I think this is easily a 3 season jacket (spring, summer, fall) and would be perfect on a vacation. I especially like the teal color, and only wish LL Bean offered it in a medium blue. I find the navy is too dark.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this jacket! Chambray is so versitile. Dress it up, dress it down! Perfect weight! Use it when you need a little something in AC. Pairs well with jeans, white pants, Khakis. Would certainly buy it in other colors if available.

Teal color was more "washed out" than the picture indicated. Fit was snug on top, sleeve upper arms were also tight. I am 5'2, 132 lbs with 39" bust and ordered a Large Reg.. I chose the regular rather than petite since other reviewers mentioned the waist line/string belt design of Petite being high. Most of the problem was related to bust fit. Cut of top was straight.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Sienna915 Nice and Comfortable
Purchased this jacket in the Vintage Teal which to me looks more like a sage green. You never can truly tell a color from the website. Have worn the jacket several times and just washed it and took it out of the dryer. You can definitely wear without ironing. Having washed it made the garment softer, but it was probably soft enough to begin with. I found the sleeves to be a little too roomy and like another reviewer, I find the pull strings for the waist to be more of a nuisance than actually functional. I'm considering removing the button thingie from the shoulders like another reviewer did. I'll wear it like this for a while & then decide.

Great jacket, true to size and really made well. I received many compliments when wearing it. Perfect weight for year around wear here in Texas. The color is beautiful and I plan to order another one soon. Thanks again LLBean for another great product!!

Received this jacket today. I like the way it fits and looks, but I couldn't quite figure out what to do with the darn drawstring. I know it's supposed to give the jacket a "slightly fitted" look, but was I supposed to tie it around my waste? Or pull it to my liking and then somehow secure it at each end with knots? If I left the drawstring as is, then the ends fell below the bottom of the jacket and were clearly visible. So, I resolved the issue simply by removing it altogether! Other than this ridiculously useless and poorly designed piece of fabric, I'm happy with the jacket.
