I really appreciate the fit with the ease in back waist and fit through hips. However, I am 5' 2" and 110 lbs and the legs are very "men's pants baggy" - much too wide for these pants. It shows when I look at the side view. I will keep them as the fabric is very nice, they wash well and are most comfortable. Washed in cool water and dried on delicate, they did not shrink. Size 8 fit well - except for the wide width of the legs. Because of the styling I don't think they can be altered to be narrower in the legs. Good length. Got them on sale in both Linen & Black.

These are the best shorts I've worn in years. I'm 5'3" and weigh 125 lbs. I ordered the size 6 regular and everything about the fit is perfect. The elastic back makes them very comfortable, but with a nice tee shirt worn untucked the back appears to lie flat. They fall just above the knee. Wash well. Didn't put them in the dryer so touched them up with an iron.

The shorts fit in the waist, and the length is just right. However, there is too much fabric in the butt! I hate to spend extra money to have them tailored, but I may have to do so. In order to get a perfect fit in the seat, the waist is too tight. I could blame it on my body, but my body really is just fine, and my butt is in proportion to my waist. I blame the shorts! Nice fabric - substantial. I'd order them again nonetheless. I like 'em overall.

Great pair of shorts - the style is timeless and the fit is comfortable. I will likely wear it often for many seasons. I liked it so much that I bought another!

These shorts are breezy, comfortable and the perfect length! I bought these for travel as linen is such an easy fabric to dress up or wear casually. Unfortunately, they cost as much as they do.

I'm really disappointed in these shorts. I wear a size 6 but the pair in Indigo and White are more like an 8. Very saggy in the bottom. I have seen a couple of reviews stating that they shrink when washed, so I'm going to try that before returning them.
The Flax linen however is closer to the true size. It is much thicker, but still bigger than a size 6. They are also excessively high waisted!
I'm not sure that they are the best bang for your buck. Definitely not for mine.

I knew these would be a bit long when I ordered them, but they are OK. I could hem them up an inch, but probably won't bother.

I haven't worn the shorts yet, but will be taking them on vacation with me. They fit true to size, I love the length, and the fabric is substantial, not thin.

I have been looking for a pair of flax colored linen shorts for a long time & even though I don't like the elastic back waistband, I kept them because I haven't been able to find any others without the elastic. I even tried taking them to a tailor to see if they could take out the elastic & make darts but she said it wouldn't work. So I kept them.
