These pants are very comfortable and just the thing for chilly weather, and with a layer of LL Bean silk undies underneath, they are good for COLD weather. However, I hate the faux front pockets. Please make these with pockets!

I live in a chilly apartment and these became an instant friend! Comfortable and warm without being bulky, they move well and the gentle flannel lining feels wonderful. At nearly 5'10" the Tall length is perfect, and true to size at 14. I worried at first try-on that the waistband might be too tight, but in fact it moves nicely and is soon forgotten. Some reviewers have used the term "dorky," but I honestly wasn't expecting great style from lined, waist-band pants. I wear outer tops mid to low hip, and what remains seen is casual and nice. Deep side pockets would be a plus, but there are two back pockets and that works. Good pants for indoors and out, I just happily ordered my second pair! :-)

I broke my wrist 4 weeks back and have worn nothing else. Aside from being very comfortable, they are the only pants I can pull up with my right arm in a cast. I am so veryy glad these are in my wardrobe. No zipper, and they look presentable for the type of work I do. Way to go LLBean. Thank-you.

These are some of the most comfortable pants I've ever owned. They are also very warm. I will buy these again. They did shrink a little in length but that was not a negative for me.

I am a nurse doing home visits. These are casual,warm in the below zero wind chill, & I love them. I am ordering another pair. I do wish they came in darker colors-black, navy & that there were front pockets. Length was good, a bit snug at the waist right after washing but release enough but doesn't get saggy.

Based on several reviews I wasn't sure I'd like these pants, but took a chance. I'm so glad I did because I love them & have worn them every day since I got them. (I put them in the washer before bed so they're ready to wear the next day). They are warm, comfortable & it didn't take long to get used to the "fake pockets." I love the flannel lining & the elastic waist. I do wish they were offered in more colors -- other than that they are perfect cold weather pants.

I can't leave these pants in the draw.. so I bought three pair! If you are stuck on fashion, these are not for you, but for the ultimate in cozy comfort, these cannot be beat. I'm a size 8, 128 lbs, 5'7' and medium tall is perfect.

The sale price was great for these pants...that said, the pants are warm and comfortable. The fake front pockets stops me from getting a second pair. I NEED MY FRONT POCKETS!
They are a bit long but I just rolled them up. They don't stay rolled up however because the pant legs are so wide at the bottom.
I am an apple figure so these actually look pretty good on me. I have my shirt pulled over the waist so nobody knows that they are elastic waist pants. The waist is pretty high on me because I have no waist but again not a problem with my shirt pulled over the top of the pants.
Can't get over how comfortable and warm they are! They are a little large but that's good in case of shrinkage after washing!

After reading all the reviews, my low expectations were met for these pants. They look dorky with their wide legs & phoney pockets. They run a little short. There is very little give in the elastic. I just got them today, so cannot comment on shrinkage. But I got them on sale, and with a coupon, so will probably keep them. They are warm. A better alternative is Llbean women's flannel lined chinos, comfort waist, flat front. I have a tummy, and prefer front pleats with the comfort waist. Still, if you want a flannel lined chino that you can wear in public, and that will last a long time, opt for the more expensive ones. I am babying my old lined chinos along so they don't wear out. LLBean, PLEASE bring back the flannel lined chinos with comfort waist and pleats.

I wear a size 10 usually and am 5'4" so I got a petite. I don't usually buy pants that pull on but they looked cute. The length was fine but they were hard to get on and tight in the waist. Frumpy looking too. I agree that they flared out at the bottoms. Very weird looking. Looked better in the photo. Returned them.
