Rated 1 out of 5 by Nywoman No resemblance to the perfect fit pants
I have several pairs of the perfect fit straight leg pants. These pants have no resemblance either in the fabric or design. They look and feel cheap
The fabric has a synthetic feel, there are outside seams on the legs and the leg is not much slimmer than the straight leg pant.
The waist comes all the way up to my chest.
They are going back.

I love these pants, which I got last year in loden green. We're having an unseasonably cool snap this April, and they are perfect today. I miss having no pockets, but I am delighted with the slim fit, just right, not like leggings.
Ladies, if the waistband were sewn down, you'd have a seam line that would pucker because of the stretchiness of the pant. Leaving it not stitched down gives it a smooth look, and I approve! It's a perfectly legitimate tailoring technique.
I am 5'9" 160 lbs. with a bit of a tummy (lately, alas), and the Regular / Large is perfect. I do not wear them with heels, so they are just long enough, and I like the longer rise.

Rated 4 out of 5 by riduck As close to perfect as I can find
Was desperately seeking pants for yoga. Nearing 77, I do not look like the models. I cannot find myself on any size chart. My middle is no longer in proportion to my trim hips and legs. I ordered these pants as soon as I saw "sit higher on waist" as most "yoga pants" are cut to the navel, not for me.
The slim cut fits me trimly through the legs and hips, not baggy, but not clinging like tights. The waist is stretchy enough to accommodate my tummy. The rise is high enough to stay put and not roll down when I stretch, and no "muffin top".
I ended up buying several pairs in different colors, and now duplicates as I found myself living in them daily, not just for yoga. They are nice enough for most of my casual lifestyle, can be dressed up with a nice top, don't feel like I'm wearing gym clothes.
Fabric seems to be holding up well to repeated washings, does not get baggy in knees or seat, except for the grey heather which was a little different material, softer and not as resilient. The raw indigo faded just a little, like denim does. No problem for me.
The only quibble has to do with length. I thought the quoted 30" would be fine, but they were too long, and in fact when I measured different pairs they varied as much as 3". (Quality control issue??) Hoped they'd shrink, but so far not much if at all. Some I just had to have shortened, an unwelcome added expense and inconvenience. I tried a Petite pair, supposedly 29", but the rise was too short and the waist rolled down.
Bottom line: These pants work great for me, and I'm hoping that now that I've found them they won't be changed or discontinued. If they keep them I'll buy more.

These pants are truly the best thing I have ever added to my wardrobe. They can be dressed up, easily worn to the office or thrown on for running errands. They look great but for my height they are best worn with heels so the bottom doesn't drag. Comfortable, easy to take care of and wonderful if you don't tuck in your tops! I folded them in a way they didn't wrinkle and they were the best thing I had for long days, bus rides and walking in Europe! I am ordering more since 3 of the 4 pair I own are over 2 years old and I am afraid they might be discontinued.

These pants run very, very big and are very cheaply made. The waistband is just a wide piece of elastic with the pant fabric wrapped around it and tacked in a few places, not even sewn in or sewn down. I really do not understand what is happening with Bean's quality, it's a shame to sell something like this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by 50somethingmom Sizing chart is off but pants are great
I measured my waist and hips and came up with 33 and 43, respectively. So I fell into the "large" category. I ordered two pairs of the pants, one large and one medium, since an old pair I had was a size 8, and that would be a small, so I thought I would at least try the medium. The medium fits easily - not at all snug - and I am pretty sure I could wear a small if I lost as few as 5 pounds. I was swimming in the large, which I am returning.

I "discovered" LLB Perfect Fit pants about a year ago, and I now wear no other pants. (I am phasing out the few other brands/types I've worn the past several years.)
I have an odd figure and I can find almost no pants that both fit and look good. I'm on the borderline between Petite and Regular. My hips are slender compared to my large tummy, disproportionate due to surgery. Also I'm about a large overall, but due to non-standard measurements, I need an elastic style waistband.
I bought all 4 "perfect fit" pant styles to try on at home. I was surprised the looser style was voluminous on me. Finally I chose the "slim" style and was really surprised how well the waist smooths over my mid-section, and how non-binding it feels. The cut a bit "above" the natural waist helps.
I was afraid they would be too tight or too revealing in the hips, but these are NOT leggings. Just a clean, narrow, streamlined cut. The absence of pockets is another plus for the appearance.
It's odd that usually I wear Regular and those are about 3 inches too long. The Petite is not too short, but might look nicer just 1/2 inch longer, but as I say, I'm in between. The Petite does work, as it seems the pants don't shrink.
So this incredible, comfortable fit on a fairly chubby body is the best part. They look sleek and this makes me feel I'm not frumpy.
There are many other benefits of these "perfect fit" pants covered by reviewers. So I will just affirm yes, the fabric is divine. Like a more expensive quality, and yet quite durable. Yes, they wear well, and I have a dog jumping on them rather frequently. Yes they wash easily. Yes, they are lightweight, but not flimsy. Yes, they stretch and don't cling, yet never get baggy.
There are similar types of pants, this general idea, out there, but LLB really got it right. I have compared, believe me. These are classy yet practical, and rightly called "perfect".

Purchased as a workout pant, love them. So does my daughter. She is now wearing them. Came back to purchase more. They did seem to run big, I started with a medium, exchanged to a small, and then exchanged to XS. Now, a wonderful fit. They are a little high in the waist, but for the gym, that could be a good thing.

I had surgery recently and wanted some pants with a gentle waist and forgiving tummy area. These fit the bill under that criteria, but they seemed pretty long. I am 5' 5" tall, 140 lbs. I do have shorter legs and longer torso. I ordered a medium petite. They are comfy, but still plenty long. I have to wear them pretty high, but aren't tucking in shirts so it's fine. Others have mentioned the waist band. It is not stitched closed around the elastic. Not sure why they left it unstitched, but it's not a problem.

These pants look and feel great! They are very flattering! Best of all, as promised, they do NOT bag out, but keep their shape all day. I have had several people tell me I looked good & asked if I'd lost weight when wearing these pants due to the flattering long, slim fit of the legs. I LOVE the fact that they come in tall sizes, but I have one major complaint. The inseam length was perfect, but the length of the pants from the crotch to the waist was REDICULOUS! They were so long the waistband almost reached the bottom of my bra. Tall women have longer legs, but our torsos are not longer than regular misses sizes. I had to pay $10 per pair to get the waistband lowered at the tailors. I have several tall friends and they always have the same problem when buying tall pants. It's time manufacturers realize this!!!! I will be buying more of these pants however & unless you make a change, will just have to pay to get them altered. I do love them and thank you for a great pair of pants with a great fit!
