I bought this chair because I have back problems and the reviews were positive. The chair arrived and I set it up and sat in it. I am 5' 6"tall, female and 130 lbs. I was unable to have my feet on the ground, the chair seems to go up in front. Also there is no support for the neck. The back support seemed good and this chair may work for a very big and tall person. The fabric seems like a cheap nylon and is not comfortable. Only 1 drink holder was attached, the label said two. My husband at 6' 2" and 180 lbs did not find the chair comfortable either. We returned the chair.

Best Chair I've ever owned. After a long day of activities, the lumbar support is priceless! Very comfortable chair. Sturdy. Straps on the bag are very convenient for taking your chair on the go.

I purchased this chair for my husband to take down to the beach. It was very nice but was too big for either of us. It sat too high and was very wide. We sent it back. It would be ideal for a larger person.

I've alway said, if a comfortable camp chair came with a Life-Time Warranty, I'd pay $100 for it.
Well, this chair IS very comfortable. And, LL Bean will replace any item if at any time you're not satisfied. So... if it ever breaks my experience has been that LL Bean will stand behind it.
I "assumed" that at this price the chair would be extremely well built. It IS better than a lot of others I've seen, but the steel tubes and connecting rivets don't appear to be any sturdier than other good quality chairs. The fabric does seem to be good quality and the stitching looks strong also. I keep going back to LL Beans 100% satisfaction guarantee. That makes it worth paying the extra money.

I bought this chair for camping. It is extremely comfortable. Most reviews had indicated that the chair was heavy and while it is constructed to last, it's not as heavy as I expected. Planning on buying another.

Unbelievably comfortable chair!! Worth every single penny!! My husband has severe spinal arthritis and has been unable to enjoy any travel for many years due to the lack of comfortable furniture. EUREKA!!! We are on the road again. This well built, strong, sturdy chair has already been on a cruise ship, airplane, hotel and RV camping. I even notice him using it at the house! The back support is truly phenomenal. The seat is wide and broad to fit almost any size bohiney...even big large! Padded armrests and cup-holder are just extra icing! Quick and fast delivery, too!!

Fellow campers, replete with $20 camping chairs, scoffed at my Strongback Elite's price tag. Then I let them partake, and then LL Bean's sales upped higher this week. Spend the money now and never buy another camping chair. Wicked comfortable.

I was impressed with this chair the first time I sat in it. The stability and support it provides is so much better than any other camp chair I have sat in. The fact that iu has some built in lumbar support is an added bonus. I highly recommend this over any basic camp chair.

I purchased this chair for my husband that has been having back problems. He LOVES it. He said it is big and it is heavy but nice & sturdy and feels fantastic. The only minor change could be a larger cup holder.

The chair is every bit as comfortable as advertised. The business with the back support actually works. The padded armrests are a nice touch, too. Also very sturdy, which compels me to add just one note of advice. As a general rule, the better the chair the heavier the chair. So before buying any camp chair, first look at its weight and ponder how and where you will use it. Make sure that the weight of the chair is compatible with the distance you will carry it to point of use.
