The picture and description was what I anticipated. I was under the impression the piece came from VT and was made in USA it is not. The top of the dresser corner was damaged in shipping and does not appear to be wood, but a composite. not what I expected from llbean

Dresser looks good, appears to be sturdy and is a definite good value for the price. My concerns are for unexpected rough spots in the finish - especially on the drawers. Clothing caught on several places before I discovered and smoothed the rough spots out.
Overall though I am very satisfied with the dresser.

This is a solid, heavy, well made dresser. Only had to attach supplied knobs. Beautiful finish. Smooth drawer movement. Should last forever.

This dresser is very pretty, especially with the bead board sides, but there are a few items about it that that I feel should be improved upon. For the most part the finish is smooth and a nice shade of ivory. Where I feel the finish lacks is where the detailing surrounding the drawers meets the drawer insert panel. If you look down at the detail you can see rough wood, or almost saw dust like particles that got down in the groove and were painted over. Not very attractive. However, from a distance, it is not noticeable. I design kitchens for a living so I am around cabinetry all the time, therefore, I guess I am spoiled when it comes to some features, but it would be nice to have full extension drawers slides on the drawers so it is easy to get to items in the back of the drawers. Also, what they are calling soft close drawers are not really soft close. Yes, there is something on the glide that janks the drawer in when you get it close to the closing point, but it does not close softly by any means. If it was truly soft close, you should be able to slam the drawer and have the glide stop the drawer and draw it in slowly and softly the rest of the way. I suppose I am more particular because I see beautifully finished cabinets everyday. Most people may not notice all that I do.

I purchased this dresser for my 2 year old son's room. I ordered it in black and it is perfect! This dresser is HEAVY! It is high quality and very sturdy. I also love how the drawers glide open and close. It fits all his clothes. It is a handsome piece and will last him for years to come. I would highly recommend this dresser! I also need to add that the 1st dresser we had delivered was damaged and customer service was EXCELLENT about getting us a new one shipped out ASAP. What I LOVE best about LLBean is their customer service, that is WHY I am a repeat customer and will be for life!

This dresser is high quality and very heavy (I could barely hold up my end of the dresser when my husband and I carried it into the house). I bought it for an old-fashioned bathroom, and it looks great!

The dresser is great for my kids room. Just wish the drawers were alittle deeper. Will be able to use for a guest room after my daughter moves out.

The dresser is beautiful! Bought it in Honey. I got it to go in my 7 year-old son's bedroom along with the North Haven Bed. I wanted something that he could grow up with and was not for just a "little kid" and that he will be able to take with him as an adult or leave behind for me to use in a spare bedroom. Great quality, nice finish and the drawers are nice sized.
