These sheets are definitely not worth the price. I bought a set in February and by July they had already started to pill.

These LL Bean Egyptian Jersey knit sheets are soft, stretchy and cozy! They're basically luxe "t-shirt" sheets.
I spent quite some time looking for the right sheets for us. Everyone focuses on high thread count but the most important thing for us is the feel of the sheet - I hate percale cotton or Sateen, they're too rough or oily feeling. I spent hundreds on high thread count sheets that faded or felt like paper, but these are worth every penny! It's a personal preference obviously but I recommend these for a no frills, cozy bed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by LOHO1952 Disappointing purchase
After many years of being a satisfied costumer this has been the most disappointing purchase I have made from LLBean!
I ordered full size sheets in blue. I washed & dried them, per instructions, and they are too small and the color faded - unevenly. They almost look tie died. Even though they shrunk they stretch unevenly to feel uncomfortable while sleeping.
In all fairness customer service told me to send them back for credit. I just didn't feel like going to the trouble of getting a package put together for return - lazy I know.
This is one of very few negative reviews I have posted but feel LLBean customers should be aware that this is not up to the usual LLBean quality or standard

Many years ago I purchased a pair of high quality jersey sheets from a different company at a discount because of the color. We loved them and used them for many years regularly until we wore through them. The original company no longer sells those sheets or even something close.
When I saw LLBean had a set I was excited. I normally feel like their products are high quality and worth the little extra money. This has not been true with these sheets. They are exquisitely soft and we've had no fit issues even with a deep king sized mattress. After many washes the color (a sandy color) has held true, but from the beginning the sheets are much lighter weight and thinner than I would have expected. Much thinner than a t-shirt. They've also developed small holes very quickly and ended up with a large pull and run (like in pantyhose). They are still usable but will definitely not last as long as our other pair did and will not be replaced with the same brand.

Rated 2 out of 5 by grammz Egyptian white jersey knit Sheet Set
I had purchased two sets of jersey sheets from LL Bean many years ago and the quality was excellent. In fact, I still use one of those sets today. I purchased a new white queen set a few weeks ago and was surprised at how thin they were. After washing, they would not fit my queen bed. They will stay on, but they do not fit. I have shopped LL Bean for at least 20 years and have never had a complaint with the quality of their products. I hope this isn't an indication that quality is decreasing on other products as well.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Pham52 Poor fitting fitted sheet
I recently purchased three sets of these sheets: two sets as a gift and one set for myself. I prewashed and dried according to directions. When I put them on my queen sized bed, the sides were not deep enough to tuck underneath the mattress. The corners are the only things holding the sheet on the bed. I read the mixed reviews and was hoping for the best. With most of the comments criticizing the same issues: holes and poor fit, I don't understand why LL BEAN doesn't correct these problems with the manufacturer. The least they could do for customers is to acknowledge the problem and recommend purchasing the next size up. Very disappointing and frustrating. It's not enough to offer to accept returns because that takes more time and money and these sheets aren't cheap! I would not recommend these sheets as currently sized. As for the durability....time will only tell....not looking forward to the holes!

Rated 2 out of 5 by EMTinpa fitted sheet too small
It was hard for me to rate these sheets. I ordered queen size in the gray heather color. These were beautiful, high quality, well made sheets and I would have given them five stars for the quality. They were soft, stretchy, and very comfortable, just like a well loved tee shirt. I read the reviews and they were mixed. Some people said the sheets shrunk in the wash while others said they washed up fine. I washed the sheets according to the washing instructions and put them on the bed. Sadly, the bottom sheet barely covered the mattress with no extra room to tuck them underneath the mattress. The bottom sheet pulled off after only one night of sleeping on them.My mattress is about 12 inches deep and the sheets are supposed to fit mattress up to 18 inches deep. I am going to send these sheets back, I hated to have to return them because I was very pleased with the high quality of the sheets.

Rated 5 out of 5 by elkay Favorite sheets
I have had 2 sets of the Egyptian Jersey Knit Sheets (Queen Size) for about 6 months. They are the softest, nicest sheets I think we have ever had. Even my husband comments on how nice they are. They are so soft....kind of a lovely cross between percale and flannel. It is like sleeping on your softest, favorite tee shirt. I have had no problems with the bottom sheet not fitting or with the color fading. The only thing I wish is that you still offered the lovely blue and white patterned set that I purchased. I am getting another set for a Christmas present.

Rated 1 out of 5 by hockeymom30 Unhappy with fitted sheet
This is the first LL Bean item that I have ever returned. The fitted sheet would not stay on my queen size bed. I loved how soft the sheets were but it was too frustrating how easily the fitted sheet came undone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Ouzel Heather Gray Twin. Nice sheets, but too skimpy
These sheets look and feel nice. My only complaint is that the bottom fitted sheet, after washing in cold water and drying in low heat, is barely wide enough to cover my twin mattress. This mattress is made of foam and is only 8 inches thick. I wish I had bought full-size sheets rather than twin.
