Rated 4 out of 5 by CeJai Great Light-Weight Shirt
I bought this for my husband to take on vacation. It washes up well and packs great. It was cool and comfortable in the Nevada and Southern California heat. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it runs large.

I ordered this shirt for my husband who is a big guy. It's loose fitting and just an all around great shirt especially in Florida!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Arizonahiker2 Feels and looks great
Purchased two of these shirts to wear during the summer in Phoenix; they are very comfortable and do keep me from feeling wet all the time from sweat. If they came in more than 3 colors I'd purchase more.

Rated 4 out of 5 by DavidNYC Great shirt for warm weather
I've purchased two of these and have been making good use of them in the hot weather we've been having here in the northeast. Well made, true to size and the concealed mesh panel in back does keep you cool. The only reason this didn't get five stars from me is that they tend to wrinke both when worn and if not taken out of the drier promptly. If you don't mind a more caual look, you'll probably be fine with it, but I find myself give them a quick ironing before putting them on.

Rated 4 out of 5 by nancyb Pockets! Pockets! Pockets!
This shirt is well made and attractive, and it's a must for anyone who loves and needs pockets of all sorts. The only problem is that it's very wrinkly, even if you remove it promptly from the dryer. For my husband, the pockets more than make up for the wrinkles!

Rated 1 out of 5 by LLBFranco Island Trail Shirt, Short-Sleeve
The shirts are labeled as 100% cotton, but the material has a thick, stiff , "waxed cotton" feel, definitely not supple. In the hot and humid FL climate they are uncomfortable due to poor ventilation and moisture evaporation. After washing the shirt needs to be ironed, unless you like the rumpled look,
If you are looking for a comfortable, wrinkle -resistance cotton shirt, Ll Bean offers several other much better options on their catalog than the Island Trail.

Rated 2 out of 5 by TaxiDave Not like last years shirt
To start of with I purchased a few of the "Island Trail" shirts last year and they were amazing. This new incarnation of the shirt has the same design but is made of a different fabric and the collar seems like they stuffed something inside of it. Last years I could quickly touch it up with an iron, this years I have to have professionally laundered to have it wearable. The only up side to this shirt is the "soft sand" color which they might as well call khaki.
Please LL Bean, bring back the old shirt with the new colors.

Rated 1 out of 5 by at78rpm Very uncomfortable
This shirt is so well made, so well designed, yet it fits like a paper bag. There are no gussets in the underarm, no pleats in the back, so that it fits only if I'm standing still. If I needed to put in a lightbulb or bend over to tie a shoe with this shirt on, it pulls on my shoulders. I have very square shoulders, and many shirts are cut for sloping shoulders; this shirt is cut for a mannequin.
Will return for refund.
