Rated 5 out of 5 by GoTravel1 Great pants for travel
I purchased these pants for my husband, and they fit the bill! We wanted pants that are lightweight for travel, don't wrinkle a lot, wash and dry quickly... and of course pants that are comfortable. These are great.
The one thing that would make them even better would be an adjustable waist.

Bought this for my boyfriend and he loves it for the summer time. It's very light weight, the extra pockets are a plus and it's water resistant. Fits according to size too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by billysax These pants do what they were designed to do!
It is hard for me to find pants that truly fit my body and my needs. I am a retired hiker who likes pants that are comfortable, yet loose enough to move around in. The zippered pockets are great for money, passports, credit cards and other small items, so I don't have to carry a wallet, or, sometimes, a pack. The color works with everything, and the zip-off shorts are a bonus. I look for these kind of buys all of the time. I'm glad I caught the L.L. Bean ad and responded!

These are wonderful hiking pants--light, tougher than I expected, stretchy, nicely laid out pockets, and they do dry quickly. Would be 5 stars but for the rise--not long enough for the high-waisted. The gusset helps but still chafes when climbing. Perhaps you could could offer a standard and a longer rise option .

These are arguably the best pants ever to come out of L.L. Bean. 100% nylon makes for easy care and sturdy comfort. In SoCal, where we have been suffering from a serious drought for eight years, and where the temps in summer rival those in the Sahara Desert, wearing a pair of Crestas is as good as wearing a pair of shorts. Nylon is ventilated and cool. The cargo pockets don't bellow, but they are still highly functional, and they zip with ease. I bought all four colors and wish there were more, especially black. Give them a shot. I'll bet you won't be disappointed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by TennesseeFlash Good product but don't depend upon color chart
Product is great. However, I purchased this brand because the "dark driftwood" color showed up as a taupe like an older pair of Timberledge pants. The Timberledge doesn't come in the taupe anymore (and don't know why). However, when I received the pants, the color is the same as the current Timberledge "briar" which is a tan color.

If there is a better pair of quick-dry pants out there, I'm not aware of them. These pants look good enough to wear to church, yet they are cool and dry extremely quickly. They are equally at home around town or on the trail. They also seem to be very well made. I am slowly acquiring all of the colors.
Note: Order a waist size two inches smaller than your actual waist measurement.

These pants are great on warm days. They look like regular pants, so they can be worn in a variety of settings. The fit is true to size or just a pinch small.

My only complaint is that they are only offered with a 30 or 32" inseam. I need a 31!

Rated 5 out of 5 they stretch
Bought these mostly as a light, fast-drying pant to wear under waders. Was a bit dismayed that my normal size were a bit, um, clingy. Especially in a certain area that left me feeling a bit exposed. The good news is that the pants stretch out! The tight feel goes away fairly quickly and after that i have loved them. Some stitching coming loose already, but no surprise, because i've come to use them in the field, too, on hot days. Fighting through brush off-trail. They survive. But they are too thin for certain things like blackberry and stinging nettle (ouch). But that's not what they are designed for, so no complaints. I am buying a second pair. Would prefer a synthetic pant that didn't make me look like a tourist in South America, but this pair of pants apparently doesn't exist. :)
