Rated 5 out of 5 by STOPNICKNAMES I live in these Saturday tees
I usually don't tuck in my tees so these are perfect for wearing out over a long skirt or slacks for me. They wash well and last many seasons. I usually just hang them to dry because I never dry my clothes. Dryers just stretche out my knits or shrinks them so why risk it.

I'm only 5'2 and it was cut very short and I'm not a big fan of showing off the muffin top.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Scottierazor nubby and uncomfortable and they shrank
I ordered either this shirt or the unshrinkable tees a couple of summers ago and hadn't worn them until this summer(thus I can't remember exactly which tees they were.) I haven't even worn them much and they are nubby at the underarms and chestt areas, essentially anywhere the material rubs against itself. I have never had this problem with LLBean tee shirts before, in fact I have some that are probably 10 years old. The material feels like a polyester blend but the tag states it's 100% cotton, made in Cambodia. I guess I'll just order the Pima cotton from now on to avoid this, it is scratchy and I end up taking it off because they're uncomfortable.

Rated 2 out of 5 by taku Too short and shrinkage
I just went to put this t shirt on and realized how much it had shrunk. It was just barely long enough before and now it is unacceptably short. I matched it to an old one and the body is almost 2" narrower and the length 1 1/2" shorter. Why not offer this shirt in a longer version for taller customers and then make sure the fabric does not shrink. They are offered in so few colors that I do not think this would be a problem. It is particularly important in the 1x-3- size range. There is a real problem when you lift your arms and your belly is exposed. This shirt will be donated to charity. Please L. L. Bean review your sizing. Many of us are taller than average.

Rated 3 out of 5 by KRoo2 Would Be Perfect Except For ONE Thing...
The Saturday T-Shirt is my favorite shirt to wear around the house. I love the feel of the cotton, and I especially love the sleeves that don't feel the least bit constricting. But year after year, I read in the catalogs that these are "the shorter length you asked for." Huh?!? The too-short length is why I don't wear them in public. The shirt hangs straight down from my breasts, making me look like Winnie-the-Pooh, or worse: pregnant-- and I am too old to be pregnant. I don't know any women with even slightly large breasts who look good in a shirt that's too short. But I do love this shirt in every other way. PLEASE, L.L.Bean, consider making them in a regular length, like your Bean's Tees & Pima Cotton Tees. If you ever do, I promise I'd buy one in every color!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Debula MY FAVORITE BUT!
The Saturday Tee is by far my favorite L.L. Bean shirt. Because I am short, just under 5 feet, and short waisted, it is the only T-shirt I have ever found that fits me perfectly. I have worn them for years. I even buy the next size larger to wear with my pajama bottoms. I have a collection of almost every color and when one gets damaged I can't even stand to throw it away. I hang it in the section of my closet for my workshirts. But here is the BUT, what happened this season, you offered a stripe, which short people often cannot wear but what happened to the color selection? There are few to choose from and I am very disappointed. And how about offering a black one? One of the most versatile colors for anyone's wardrobe and you don't have one? I have always counted on Beans for the classic colors as well. I am concerned that your lack of colors means you might be considering discontinuing the shirt. Please please don't do that. So often when I go to buy them it seems they are sold out. So I'm presuming they are very popular item. I am keeping my fingers cross that the fall selection will show a lot more colors! Very satisfied customer with the product.

Rated 2 out of 5 by meba Need different fittings
For years and years I've bought Bean's tee shirts. They fitted beautifully, comfortable, relaxed. Then the sleeves were shortened--not so good for us older women with sagging arms. Then they were fitted (slightly?). Again, not the best for us. Please, do a tee with longer sleeves (not 3/4 length) just mid-way down the upper arm, and add some length to the body--the Saturday tees are too short in sleeve and body, although they have the loose fitting. I also can't answer 'yes' or 'no' to recommending the item. It would depend on the person asking, so it would be helpful if you added a "perhaps" to your 'yes' or 'no'. However because there's no choice, it's a 'no'.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Putterputt41 Love/Hate Saturday T
Being short makes the Saturday an ideal T for me. I've bought them for quite a few years and loved them. This year, I have bought quite a few but the quality is not there this time. My shirts are "holey"! Tiny holes appear after a couple of washings. They are not holding up. So hope this does not continue and L.L. Bean can return to a more wearable T.
