Rated 5 out of 5 by fghijklmn Love the shirt - now need more colors!
I love this shirt - short enough for wearing with shorts, boxy enough so that there is air movement when I'm outside working or exercising. Now . . . could you add a bit more sophistication to the colors and designs??? Some of them look like kids shirts. I want a soft pink or a soft blue or a sunny yellow, and especially smaller stripes. The large stripes are not flattering, and I want to go out to lunch and feel like a grown up. Thanks! You heard me years ago when I begged for you to bring this style back, so I hope you'll hear me again with better softer colors, and more sophistication.

Rated 2 out of 5 by ReySun Beyond relaxed - Huge!
Ordered 3 of these shirts in my normal size. I am broad shouldered, plus size and these shirts were huge on me. I own 4 of the boatneck French sailor shirts and love them. These shirts just hung on me. Soft material with a great weight. I don't understand the size discrepancy. Now I have to go through the hassle of return...why I am always hesitant to order.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Pill12 Great fit, comfortable
I have purchased 9 of these shirts in the last 6 months. Love the fit. They don't fit skin tight like all the shirts these days and they are short enough for a short person. I wish they came in more colors. However, I have only had these shirts for 5 months and most of them have small holes in the front all ready. I would buy them again, but it is a disappointment that they did not hold up better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by kelliann Blue Heather is gorgeous. Can we have pink?
I bought blue heather crew neck short sleeve Saturday tee about a month ago. I love the heathered color. I would like to see it in pink, a shade of violet, and a shade of coral.
I received the latest catalog 2 days ago and eagerly paged through it looking for Saturday tee. I found two other shirts, both "slightly fitted" which won't fit me because, since I am over 55, my waist is no longer curved like it used to be even though I am of "normal" weight for my size. Sadly, there were no Saturday tees in the catalong. And no new colors online either. (sigh) Bean, won't you please stop trying to squash sales so you can rid yourself of Saturday tee and listen to your loyal customers?

Rated 4 out of 5 by shakergal My favorite all-around shirt
I have had many of these shirts (at least 30) over the years. I still have old white ones for yard work that have the green tags.
I love these shirts as far as the looser fit, nice neckline, higher at the waist - I'm short. I will agree with everyone that it would be nice to get more color variety. For a while there were the bright reds, greens and indigo, instead of the drabby light blue, aqua, etc. Bllack would be nice, too.
My comment about the old shirts I still have, reflect the fact that the material used back then was so much better than the current material. After a summer of wear, the shape is stretched out, but my old shirts still maintain their shape. I guess we, as consumers, have settled for second-rate fabric. It would be nice to see a company produce a USA product, similar to that of 30 plus years ago. I'd be willing to pay the price.
Given that, I still love the shirt.

Rated 3 out of 5 by livenlearn size inaccurate
I have several of these shirts which I have ordered over time.
This latest one I just received is sized about one size larger.
Ordered a large but this one fits like an extra large.
sleeves hang over and length is longer. Just does not fit
properly. Beware of sizing when ordering.

Rated 5 out of 5 by kelliann Great shirt but where oh where are the new ones?
I just bought a second of the Heather Blue Saturday Tee, short sleeved, in size Small (which is happily my new size after a 33 pound weight loss). I want more colors in Small and have checked every week for them. I have many colors in medium and large. These are the *only* shirts I wear. Please give us more Saturday Tees in more colors.
Bean, can't you please keep carrying these wonderful shirts and get off the path to making them extinct? I don't want to have to pay a tailor to make my "large" shirts into "small." But it is more than beginning to look like that is going to be the only way we can keep wearing these great shirts. Ladies, as a last resort if Bean persists in getting rid of these shirts, keep that in mind.

Rated 5 out of 5 by DesignerCraftsman Please, MORE COLORS!
So many LL Bean customers who order and wear this shirt are asking the same thing..."Can we please have more colors to choose from?"
I live in Florida and wear Saturday Tees all year long. I would love tropical brights (lime, mango, caribbean blue) but would also like black, heather gray, plum, forest green for the winter, soft pink would also be nice. Solids too, please,,horizontal stripes are not that flattering.

Rated 4 out of 5 by annz Material is different
I bought the grey/white striped Saturday T-shirt at the store 2 weeks ago & have worn it several times w /white cropped pants--it's a great summer outfit. However, the material is different from all my other Saturday t-shirts in that it's a different texture, a bit (seemingly) heavier--almost as if it's meant for cooler temps (yet it's not hot surprisingly). I am happy that this Saturday t-shirt is designed more like my old Saturday T's: boxy, loose, & not hanging waaay down, thank goodness. It's the way the original Saturday T's were so it pays to let LL Bean know what we like & don't like. Now I have to keep the letters going for the return of the Fitness jacket to its original shorter shape :>)

Rated 5 out of 5 by Liz537 Best tee ever
These tees are the best for anyone who doesn't want to worry about cling or see through material. I am over weight (5'4", 175) and always order the size L which works great as these tees are more boxy. The shorter length is complimentary and these are my go-to tees from May to September. The neck is nicely finished so it looks good under sweaters too.
