I am usually very impressed with the quality of the items I order from L.L .Bean. I can't say that for this item. The fabric does not live up to the description. the detailing on the front of the shirt is very skimpy. The top just looks cheap. I washed it thinking it might look better. It doesn't. Sorry I bought it.

Bought the coral--love it. It's soft and hangs nicely, and the cut is flattering--scoop neck and shirring take attention away from midriff and tummy, and length and loose casual fit mean I can move around freely without constantly wondering if I need to tug my top down over my tummy bulge. I can just put it on, smile into the mirror and forget about it. Yay!

I thought I would like this shirt, but it doesn't look good on me at all. The neck is too scooped and the fit is unflattering, but the color ( light blue) is nice. I will be returning it.

This shirt (I ordered the solid color, blue stone) is made of attractive fabric that is not see-through. I love that the buttons are the same color as the material, and the scoop neck is not too wide for those of us with narrow shoulders. The left front side of the shirt seems to hang a little lower than the right. Which made me want to tug at the right side to even it up. This is not good. I washed it in cold water and dried it on low. Then I tried it on again and it had shrunk slightly, just enough to show my lumps and bumps which it had covered adequately before I'd washed it. So, I need to send it back which is a disappointment because I was all set to order it in another color. Also, I've never before had an item from LLBean that was cut crookedly. What a shame!

I dearly love this shirt. The fabric is light and airy without being flimsy -- perfect for a late spring or early summer day. The style is very flattering for us pear-shaped gals. It accentuates the upper torso while concealing the hips. The floral pattern is subtle and feminine. It washes well, too. Great job, L. L. Bean!

The size was perfect, matched size chart. Loved the feel of the cotton-linen fabric. Great to have in the early spring months when days are warm and nights can be chilly. After knowing my size fit perfect-I ordered two more tops.

I really like this top and just ordered another color. I think the gathering in the front is an interesting detail that is a welcome change from a plain front or a pintuck. I am happy with the fit because the tee does not cling. I have being wearing mine under v-neck cardigans with no problems. The color of my original purchase is the rose mist which is a dusty rose, not the pale lavender pictured. Because of the color difference, I gave it 4 stars.

Nice tee. Fabric slightly mottled which gives it a slightly dressier look. Tunic length good for hiding tummy bulge.
But the sizing runs large - i'm broad shouldered and a 42B chest - large is usually my size. It was baggy under my arms and around my chest - looked unkempt. Gave the large to a friend and bought a medium for myself = better fit.

When I ordered the shirt, the description said Cotton/Linen Tee Henley. I received the shirt and cannot tell that it is anything other than a low quality long sleeved tee shirt with some gathering in the front. It is lacking any shape. I would have expected a stiffer material. It is also quite large for a size large. Big Disappointment for $39.95.
