I wanted to like these - comfortable and stylish enough. Fit well. But the soles squeaked horribly on my wood floors. Had to send back.

I just received these a few minutes ago, I wasn't sure if they were shoes or slippers! (they do have shoes with fleece lining ) They are so comfortable and warm. They have a good sturdy sole for outside but flexible. I will be wearing these a lot since I can run out to the mailbox etc without having to change into shoes!
Like them enough that I am thinking of buying another pair.,
I got the chocolate brown and it is a very dark rich color. Ordered a 7 my normal size and fit perfect. (hope they don't stretch out)
Wish they came in black.

These slippers fit very well. They're the first I've found that don't slip off my heel. The length is true to size. The width does well on my slightly narrow foot

Rated 2 out of 5áby Java2010 25 Years of Perfect Fit, Now Too Large
My preferred flannel lined slippers arrived this week and are way too big for my always-perfect-fitting 7. I have been a LL Bean Slipper wearer for 25 years, having leather and suede versions, and having fleece-lined and flannel-lined versions. They have always been a perfect fit until this year. Tried them out of the box with socks and they slip up and down at the heel and there's one finger joint of space at the toes. Unfortunately, it now appears the size 6 with flannel lining is already out of stock. And at all costs, I simply refuse to buy another pair with fleece lining because they are too hot in Texas, making my feet sweat and creating a smelly shoe after awhile. All three pairs of my current slippers still have good suede and leather uppers (one pair after 25 years), however, two pairs have worn away soles. Love LL Bean quality, but the company has fallen short the past three years in trying to replace my slippers with flannel-lined ones. Unfortunately, I must return the new pair since a smaller size is already sold out before Thanksgiving, must less Christmas!

Rated 3 out of 5 I wanted to love them....
These are beautiful slippers, and I really adored the mulberry color that I received, and that there were no ties to come undone or trip over. However, I wish they had half sizes in these slippers! I wear an 8.5/9 shoe and ordered size 9, and they felt uncomfortably tight (I only wear slippers if I am also wearing socks.) I think a 9.5 would have worked if available.. but a 10 would have been too big. For those sock and slipper wearing kind of folks, I wouldn't think this is the best choice in slipper.

I am an invalid, so I thought that perhaps my feet had swollen when I tried on these slippers. They are at least 1/2 size too small. So I tried on some of my other footwear--all sized 8 M, like the slippers Everything fit fine, except these. I decided to give them a chance to stretch out, but it didn't happen.
I do like the thick rubber sole that keeps the bottom of the feet away from the cold Maine floors, but struggling myself into a cold sweat with a slipper in the middle of the night, is not my idea of a good time.

I have 2 pair of the Handsewn Slippers Suede with fleece lining; one in eggplant and one in a light blue. Great slippers that are no longer available for women; just for men.
So I took a chance and got the Oceanside slippers. They fit okay; I am size 8 W and Size 8 fit with bare feet. But I put on a medium weight sock and now they are snug and the toes are crammed in. I will keep these but use for spring and summer only.
The color says Dark Mulberry but they are really a bright raspberry.
Please BRING back ladies Handsewn suede slippers (fleece lining) in nice colors(navy, black, eggplant, etc.) ; they are far superior; much more substantial, the soles are much sturdier and they cost ten dollars less than these new slippers.
The one PLUS for the Oceanside slippers is NO FLOPPY BOWTIE on the front that comes undone several times a day?you either have to glue them down or cut them off before you wind up tripping over them.

What I really wanted was a leather slipper that was not suede. I just wore out a fabulous slipper in a pebbled leather that I'd had for at least 10 years (the gummy sole wore out, not the leather). However after searching for a while I realized that if I weren't a man or willing to spend close to $200, I wasn't going to find what I wanted. So I read the reviews and decided to try these. When they arrived, I gave them three applications of "Camp Dri" waterproofing (my main objection to the suede). These are wonderful slippers. They fit best on a bare foot (I bought the pile-lined version) and are wonderfully comfortable. I can wear them outside to take the dog out, which was a big requirement, and if I wore them running to the grocery store, it wouldn't look like I'd forgotten to change from my slippers. I can't speak yet to longevity, but I hope they last as long as my last pair (also from Bean's).

Rated 2 out of 5áby shopperlove very narrow for a medium width
I wanted to love these, bought 3 pairs in the past hoping the sizing would be fixed. These run very narrow and do not get wider as you wear them. I have tried the fleece lined and the unlined summer ones. Both are too narrow. The old llbean leather moccasins that were flanned lined were PERFECT. Wish they would bring them back.

The perfect slipper!! True to size if you are not going to wear socks with them. Extremely comfortable and flexible slipper. Very well made.
