The perfect slipper!! True to size if you are not going to wear socks with them. Extremely comfortable and flexible slipper. Very well made.

Rated 2 out of 5 by NYC81 the size is mis-marked
When I read other reviews that the size was larger than stated, I thought that would be good because I take an 8 1/2 and the shoes only come in full sizes. The 8 was huge! I checked to see if I had been sent a 9 instead of an 8. No, it was an 8. I decided to send them back and order a different slipper because I couldn't be sure a 7 would be big enough, and I didn't want to have to send them back a second time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by jbeagle Very nice slipper
I wanted a slipper to wear when the weather was just a little chilly and these fit the bill. I usually wear a size 8 shoe and that is the size I ordered in the slipper. The fit is good, just right without socks, a little snug with socks. I chose the blue color and I love it. Recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Clemma Comfy, and seemingly replace the handsewn slippers
First off, I totally disagree with those who say these run large and order down. I did, and had to exchange them.
I used to take an 8 in the handsewn slippers and ordered the same in these. They were too short. I'd rather have these slightly wide and wear a thin sock in them, than have them encase me like a glove and have my toes poking the ends of the toebox..
These slippers are soft and cozy. The sole is NOT the same as the handsewn slippers... does not come up high on the sides, alas. Also is not leather, is suede, so for those wanting slippers to wear outside on a wet lawn in the morning, these are not quite so ideal.
However, after LLBean changed the last and manufacturer of the handsewn slippers and got hundreds of complaints, guess they went for these. I, personally, loved the old handsewn ones and would buy them in a minute, but it has been about 4 years since they would fit mine, or apparently, most anybody's foot.
On to these... I got the bright navy. They are a nice color, definitely navy, but not a navy that is almost black.
Again, I'd caution not to order smaller than your normal size at all; I had to order larger.
They seem like good quality and comfortable. I think I will enjoy them.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Jetwoman100 Sole is thin and little support
I had been looking to replace my Bison doublesoled shearling lined slippers which apparently have been discontinued for women. The reviews on these Oceanside slippers were good but I found the soles too thin and very little foot support. Sending them back and trying Beans Wicked Good mocs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by c2700 Perfect slipper!
This review is for the flannel lined oceanside slipper. I bought a pair of these for myself about a year ago and I still love them. They are in great shape and I even got a pair for my mom. Perfect for people like me who hate all that fuzzy lining that tends to get matted. They keep feet warm without getting all sweaty! I'm usually an 81/2, so I order an 8 and the length was perfect. At first they were a little narrow, but now that they are worn in, the shoes fit perfectly. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a durable, comfortable slipper without all that fleece!

Stylish, sturdy and perfect for Texas weather. I wanted something I could wear in the house but not make my feet too hot. These are perfect! They do run a tad big so order a size down. So comfortable I am thinking of getting them in the other colors.

Rated 4 out of 5 by lovethebirds Two reviews needed for Unlined and Fleece Lined
Two reviews are really needed so that above Length/Fit ratings would reflect each of the slipper styles. I had no option but to say True to fit for both of them.
Unlined: No need to size up, runs large but this allows room for hot feet to swell and breath, or if it is cooler, room for a light sock. I usually wear 7 1/2 but 7 was fine. One or two areas of the top seam rubs my toes but with hammer toes this is a typical problem. If you wear a light sock that isn't snug, you may find that the suede pad under the heel will tend to pull it down which can become very annoying.
Fleece Lined: I think they used the same sizing for the outer suede shell so when you line it with fleece it then becomes a lot tighter than the unlined. For me, I had to return size 7 for 8. When it is cooler, I am always wearing socks and even allowing for the fleece to flatten, there was no way that the 7 would fit.
Both slippers: Great styling and glad there is no bow on top to continually untie/retie. They are good for a dry trip to the mail box or a neighbor. On my wood/tile floors, they do product a squeal if you turn a certain way but that's OK because they definitely do not slip and are safe to race around the house.

Perfect fit, size 8. REAL comfy. Beautiful blue color, I will certainly order another pair in a different color! Please LL Bean, keep offering these slipper for years and years. It's so hard to find the perfect slipper.

Rated 5 out of 5 by nightgale Nice color and quality
I was delighted to unwrap these Oceanside slippers and see the pretty, soft color. The "coral" is more like a pink-peach, a pastel.
Intensification of color is normal on device screens, but in this case the real tone is a feminine, more muted, but not boring, color.
I had no size issue like some folks. I'm typically a size 8, and got these in an 8, and there is neither sloppiness nor pinching. Felt relaxed yet mildly snug from first try-on.
So many discuss the fine craftsmanship, I won't go on. The design is classic. The grip bottom meant for floors, tiles, or short trips to get the paper.
Only teeny improvement I would make is purely aesthetic. Why have the rubber bottoms extend up so far on the front and back? Looks goofy and half the height of those "bumpers" would more than serve the purpose. No one is going to trudge thru the snow it these slippers, so keep the cleaner lines. That's just a personal idea. Still 5 stars.
