Named for Maine's craggy-shored Casco Bay, this classic L.L.Bean polo is made of highly breathable piqué-knit mesh-cotton fabric that will keep you cool and comfortable. It's pigment printed, so it weathers gradually for the look and feel of an old favorite. Chambray trim at the collar and placket. Relaxed fit. Straight hem with side vents. Washed for softness you'll appreciate. Imported. Machine wash and dry.

Rated 5 out of 5�by Stew64 Regular fit and it's supposed to fade. If the other two reviewers would have bothered to read the product description, they would have noticed the statement that this garment is designed to fade, to give a well worn broken in polo. I too was not ready to give way to fading but indeed happened as described with even the most conservative care, including the use of Woolite�. The fading is slight but could easily pass as a prized shirt from a few summers ago. But knowing that's what the garment is supposed to fade, then I'm okay with it. The shirt has plenty of room ( I'm 6 foot, 168 lbs.) If LL Bean made a more fitted version, then I would have had the perfect fit. But if you're one who likes a bit more room without looking like you bought a size too big, then you'll love the cut of this polo. Cool chambray collar lining. It's a nice detail. The matching blue plastic buttons are okay. I'd like to have seen some weathered wooden or horned buttons but that would take this shirt into an entirely different price range. The tail is even with the front so you don't have that long butt-flap look if you wear the shirt un-tucked. Banded sleeves are comfortable without feeling like I'm getting my blood pressure taken from both arms. Not tight fitting at all. I have somewhat of an athletic build and I don't experience any tight fitting anywhere, even with the collar buttoned up to the top (at times when I feel a bit nerdy.) Anyway, great shirt. Thinking about buying another in a different color. This review is based on the navy & white stripe polo. The style meets my nautical summer look perfectly. May 27, 2013

Rated 3 out of 5�by megapix Good fit, poor wear I have a difficult size to fit. I need a LG or XL but the tails usually hang close to my knees. This shirt does the trick in an XL but fades badly in a few weeks especially near my waist leaving a whitewashed ring. I continue to purchase because of the comfort and fit but would not recommend to others. May 5, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5�by Monina Nice, but not perfect My husband bought this and he loves it, size is true to fit, but even though I wash it in delicate cycle and tumble dry low, the colors are looking faded, like if it is and old shirt. He will keept it because fabric is not so light, not so heavy. April 22, 2013
