Rated 5 out of 5 by NameMcNick Nice, comfortable shoe
Very comfortable, easy wearing shoes. I can't really call them "boots" because they're low-cut, but they're surprisingly comfortable. Other reviewers have complained about the lack of support or warmth. I received exactly what I expected, and exactly what was pictured. It clearly is not an insulated boot, and the sole is relatively slim. Still, it's an L.L. Bean product so I expect it to wear well and not fall apart. But that doesn't mean I'm going to use them to hike the Appalachian Trail. So far, I love them. :)

Shoe feels very flimsy, and provdes no warmth or support. It is also quite narrow and overall not a quality product. Disapointed that LLBean would sell a product like this, but they take back whatever your not satisfied with so I cant completely complain.

Just received them and they are comfortable. I just ordered a pair of chukka shoes as well. From belts to shoes everything I have ordered from Bean has been top notch and customer service is the best. You will not be disappointed in Bean products.

Rated 1 out of 5 by magic1 No support
I really liked the style of these shoes, but they offer absolutely no support. The leather is paper thin and the soles are very flexible. There is no arch support, and the fit is narrow. I really wish they were made better. Unfortunately I will have to return them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by mousedeer Great simple shoes!
I got a pair of these Chukkas a year or so ago and I really like them. They are incredible comfortable, simple, and can fit on easily. Somewhat nice for work or just everyday walking. They are fairly low, so be aware of this. It kind of adds to the relaxed feel they have. I got a size 11 and they seem true to size.
After a year they are still in great shape, expect for the laces. This is also the only thing I can say was of somewhat less quality then the rest of the shoe. The laces themselves are reasonable, but because the holes they go through (in the shoe) are made of metal, they scrape one in a while, and thus get frayed. Also, they are so short! I can just tie the laces with a loop in the 2nd to last holes, but they are not nearly long enough to lace up the entire shoe.
So besides the laces being small and fraying a bit, this is a really awesome shoe. Recommend it to everyone, but would like to see longer laces (of course you can always get your own).

Rated 4 out of 5 by HappyCustomerPN good value
This is a good value, the length for a size is a little long, maybe a half size.. it is comfortable.. soft, and I needed something with more support for the ankle..

Rated 5 out of 5 by Moonshinexxx Stitch Out Chukkas Are Great!
Got the Stitch Out Chukkas to keep from spending well over double for some similarly styled, but custom-fitted Russell Moccasin Chukkas. Glad I did! While I do appreciate that the Russells are made in the US and customized to fit the owner, I was surprised to find that the LLB chukkas are well made with quality components, (leather, stitching, etc.), and should suit me fine for a long time coming! In my opinion they fit true-to-size and run a bit wide, but that suits me since I?m a measured E width and these are sold as D width. The chukkas are actually NICER than I expected and the crepe sole is pretty comfortable even though the shoes don?t have much arch support. I don?t think they would be suitable for any heavy-duty activities (hunting in harsh weather, cutting wood, etc.), or for wearing in a downpour, but for a nice casual shoe these should work fine!

Rated 4 out of 5 by sconsonite chukkas, more reliable than "tennies"
"Tennies" are basically designed for the courts, or the course.
Great place for them.
What about, before, between, and after?
These chukkas are just right, lightweight, and comfortable.
