Rated 5 out of 5 by MoConn My sheet search is over
Having read every website review, every recommendation known to the internet and interviews of friends, relatives and sales clerks, we chose LL Bean's percale sheets. Yes, we're a bit OCD about our purchases (must be the NE upbringing), but we are 100% satisfied. Don't believe the 800 thread count nonsense, these are perfect. They are crisp, soft, and cooling to my hot flashes. Even my husband, who claims he would not be able to tell the difference, is sold! Thank you, LL Bean!

Purchased a set of sheets and pillow cases for our bed. The fitted queen sheet, costing over $50 made it just over a year, then there was a 18" tear at the foot of the sheet. Save your money!

Purchased the flat sheet in March 2013. Visibly worn in the foot area one year later and ripped beyond repair after 14 months of use. The same thing happened to the prior fitted sheet I purchased (same product). These sheets were given a great review by a consumer product magazine, which is why I switched to them in the first place. Not prudent to pay over $50 for a sheet with such a short product life.

"everybody's lookin' for something" - could this be it?
High quality, smooth finish, not slippery, good weight, simple with nice touches, wash well. These comfortable sheets are a bit pricey, but have that real cotton feel and are not flimsy.
The light blue is a fresh color. The sand also quite nice. The two mix and match well with blankets and metalasse spreads. This entire collection is very well done in terms of soft, classy, understated coloring.

Rated 5 out of 5 by WhitneyL Excellent Sheets!
We now own two sets of these sheets and love them. They wash a dry very well and the deep pockets are perfect for larger mattresses. I love the crisp feel that they provide every time I get into bed. I would highly recommend these. They came recommended to us and we are thrilled with our purchase.

I read about these sheets on the Sweethome web site where they were their number one pick for best sheets. After the lengthy and glowing review I had high expectations. Sadly, I'm returning them after they turned out to be very harsh and abrasive and not smooth and soft at all (this is after washing with vinegar in the rinse cycle). These sheets felt like they had a much lower thread count than indicated. Also, the "standard" pillowcases where way too big for my standard pillows - they where just swimming in the excess space.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jim620 I like the sheets more that I thought I would.
I was looking at various options for sheets and decided on these. I have only done two washings so far but I like them more than I thought I would and think they are a good value. They feel and look good and they only look crinkled after a wash compared to some other sheets that get majorly wrinkled.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Disappointedagain2 Color and quality not as advertised
I received these sheets today and am returning them tomorrow. I ordered the mid blue color and the actual color more closely matches the lake. The quality is no where near what I used to get from Beans. I've been buying sheets from Beans for 40 years and I am afraid this may be the last set I ever try. As a long standing and (used to be) very loyal customer, it is very sad to see the continued decline in the quality of Bean's products.

These sheets are poor quality. Less than 2 years old and fabric is ripping horizontally. Paid way too much for the set to have them do this. And as mentioned by others, the top hem on the top sheets rolls and no matter what you do it can't be stopped. Quality percale sheets don't exist anymore so I just went to a big store and bought a entire cotton set complete with 4 pillowcases for less than I paid for ONE sheet from here.
Save your money. We are disappointed, we love percale. But I give up looking and wasting money.

Bought a 280-Thread-Count Pima Cotton Percale Sheet, Fitted in May 2013. Less than one year later fabric has already torn. Also it wrinkles up under your shoulder as one turns from one side to another, leaving uncomfortable imprints on ones skin.
