Our all-terrain sandals are back with sportier styling, an improved fit and a new lower price, thanks to feedback from customers like you. These versatile water sandals protect kids' toes from sticks and stones while providing great ventilation and sneakerlike comfort. They're ideal for adventures in the water or on the shore. Quick-drying synthetic upper is lined with soft jersey-knit polyester. Back strap with hook-and-loop closure allows for easy on/off. Molded EVA footbed cradles feet in comfort and dries fast. Nonmarking rubber outsole. Imported. Half sizes order down.

(She has narrow feet, so these sandals might be narrow as other reviewers have said). These fit her well with or without socks and provide good traction and coverage, as well as fresh air for her toes on hot days. Excellent shoes for an active kid in the summer. May 25, 2013

The closed toe keeps their toes safer wherever they may go in these sandals. Unfortunately they will someday grow out of the available sizes! May 25, 2013

I think a better design might be to keep the Velcro closure in the back--which seems like a good idea--and then have another one across the top of the foot, both to open when putting the shoe on and to adjust the snugness as needed. My 7 year old could not squeeze her foot in all the way down to the toe end because the opening is so narrow and unforgiving. Needless to say, these are going back. Maybe they would work for someone with quite slender, flat feet. May 18, 2013

I always buy a little larger than what I need so that my son doesn't grow out of them before the end of the summer. He's starting to grow out of his size 1 LL Bean shoes, so I thought I was safe buying a size 2 LL Bean sandal. Boy was I wrong! If you have to have this sandal, think about sizing down rather than up. March 6, 2013

Rated 2 out of 5�by jeob Nice looking! But 1.5 size bigger at least. I order two pairs and even though they look nice and it was what I was looking for, these sandals run extremely big. At least 1.5 size bigger. LL Bean didn't post my other review about these sandals. Order a whole size smaller. Still they will be big. They went back already and I'm not ordering from here any more.
