Rated 4 out of 5 by Lighthouse11 Petite too long
This skirt is comfortable and well made. However the petite is still too long for us petite girls. Petite is usually 5'3" and shorter. I am 5'2". A 24 inch length skirt is too long. 22 inch would be better. I was hoping the skirt would shorten in the dryer but I will have to have it shortened instead. Other than that, it's a great skirt!

Good, practical skirt in lightweight sturdy cloth - but sold out!!!! Please bring back more in the petite size range - chambray or a light denim color especially.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Yisunah White sunwashed canvas skirt
This review is for the White skirt. I ordered it because it was the only color left in my size XS Petite. While the fit and comfort are good, it is somewhat transparent. It is fine if you wear a slip underneath, but for me these skirts take the place of shorts in hot weather and adding an extra layer is not what I want. I'm going to send it back. I would recommend it with reservations - for a casual office with a slip I think it would work. I was disappointed that this skirt was discontinued this season - any hope of bringing it back?

Rated 4 out of 5 by Yisunah Cool summer skirt
I like the skirt, have it in several colors from last year. It is cool and comfortable in hot weather, and good for occasions when the sunwashed canvas pants may be too casual. I prefer this longer length over the original shorter version; makes it more versatile. It isn't offered this year - any chance of bringing it back? I would order more.

Rated 2 out of 5 by wisefish See-through and unflattering
I ordered this skirt in white (the only color available in my size) and when I tried it on, I could see my skin right through it! Also, the cut of the skirt was unflattering on me. It was tight through the hips and bulged out in the front. Sending it back. If you have a straight figure this could be cute, I am more pear-shaped, and it just didn't work. Also, I am not a fan of a drawstring tie on my clothing items. If you wear a shirt untucked with it, the tie makes a bulge right in front where I don't need any extra bulge!

Rated 3 out of 5 White is very see-through
I bought 2 of these: white and a light khaki. The white is totally see-through. I'm returning it for a darker fabric.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Glissando Casual Comfort
I already owned one of these skirts and welcomed the second skirt of the same style. From past experience they are so comfortable and can take you just about anywhere. I have worn mine over my swimsuit to get to the pool. The one I ordered this time is a darker color and can be worn for a while after the summer.

Rated 3 out of 5 by ModestMamaLisa Not 25 1/2" long as stated. Warning-back vent
This skirt is very comfortable- lightweight but not see-through which is rare. I love the pockets. Yes, it is a casual skirt, but I think that's quite clear from the picture and even the title. However, this skirt is not 25 1/2" long as stated. I measured it (I sew) and it is only 24.5 inches long. Also, there is a back vent- which I don't see written anywhere in the description. I am a modest dresser. Back vents and an inch difference in length make a difference in my decision to buy/keep skirts. For someone who is not picky about length and back slits, I think this would be a terrific, comfy and cool option.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Wings23 Don't love this skirt but it might work for you
This is an ok skirt if you want something super casual and you don't mind thin elastic in your skirts. Or a big line of stitching down the front of the skirt which makes the skirt look frumpy. It is more noticeable in person than in the picture. I don't wear skirts for casual wear, I wear them to church or to work. For casual times in hot weather, I wear shorts. So I have no need for an overly casual skirt. I also tend not to like elastic waists that are too bunchy although I do like a little "stretch" in my wasitband: preferably just side inserts, back elastic only or a small amount of spandex stretch in a mostly flat band. Although this was thin elastic and looked comfortable, it wasn't. So, if like me, you don't tend towards liking a full elastic waist, this isn't the skirt for you. The material was a nice weight though, and I got the white and it was not see through like some whites are. It was a nice length that fell a little under my knees at 5'4". If you don't mind or like an elastic waist casual skirt that is a nice soft weight and good length, this might work for you. It just didn't work for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by biscaylady great for travel
I just returned from vacation and found this a comfortable and attractive garment for road trip. Much cooler than slacks and better for touring than shorts. Have washed and worn the chambray and only slight wrinkling. No slip needed and skirt hangs well. it isn't particularly "shaped" but that lets it fit many shapes and it may suit yours! Just received it in navy and light khaki. I echo the Georgia lady's comments about the suitability of these skirts for warm and humid. A nice change from the constant shorts here in Florida and can be dressed up a little. The length was fine for my 5'7". In the past I had to return the shorter version of this skirt, but this length is modest without being dowdy, in my opinion.
