The fabric gets snags and pulls very easily. I have worn this three times, and it looks terrible from all the snags. I will be returnning it for a different shirt. The UV protection is effective, however. Never a burn.

Have to agree with the other one star reviews. After only a few wash and wear cycles, this snag-prone shirt has earned a spot on my "dirty jobs" clothes pile. I own some very nice Bean shirts. This isn't one of them.

The material snags every time you wear it. A waste of money.

I bought four of these and the two that I have washed now have threads sticking out of them. And I did wash them as instructed with no dryer

I purchased this for my husband prior to taking a trip abroad--we needed light weight, easy-to-wash clothing. After about a week, the shirt started pilling (we had washed it by hand and line dried it), and had snags in it. It was not heavily worn?just did not wear well. This is more a shirt "for looks", even though it is a "performance" shirt.

I received this shirt as a gift for its sunscreen properties.
Unfortunately the material is not durable and after wearing it a few times, there were several dozen little snags or pulls in the cloth .
I have sensitive skin and I found the stitching, especially around the pocket, to be very irritating.
I have another Bean sun screen shirt which does not have these problems and I would recommend that model.

Bought this shirt for my son-in-law to take on his month long fishing trip in Michigan's UP. He tells me he loves the shirt, and he wore it everyday. Good grief! Maybe I better buy him a few more! Great weight. Comfortable.

It is a thin fabric, very light and comfortable, it protects from UV. Great shirt for outdoors, biking and sunny days in general!

I live in Ecuador in the tropics, blazing unforgiving perpendicular sun during summer. I wear long sleeves to protect me from exposure. When wearing this shirt there is a "breeze" under the material close to your skin. I would compare it to the effect of shadow under a tree that causes a breeze when you walk into it from a blazing sun with no breeze at all. Cool even with extreme temperatures. I use it for fishing and all around purposes. I even go in the ocean with it and afterwards go for walk and dries up in minutes. HIGHLY recommend it!

Good quality, stylish long sleeve functional fishing and casual wear shirt. Delivers on all counts. At 66 yrs. young standing about 6' on a good vertical day carrying 210 Lbs, with a "smallish" ; > ) paunch belly my XL Reg. feels true to advertized size and while comfortable and roomy, it is not baggy. The zipper pocket on front is a functional plus for various storage like a small fly box and/or ID, fishing license or keys however I can feel the interior part of the zipper on my skin. Yep..... personal issue but I suggest that LL B consider adding an inside thicker backing on it. Has great versatility and LL B offers for you that are not vertically challenged tall sizing too. Try one in your size and color choice. Hope you enjoy and use yours as much as I do.
A great value and a keeper for me but would like to see LL B add a collar to aid in keeping the sun off my already red neck and when needed for additional warmth at a price point in the $45.00 range. Tight lines and tips up.
