Overall, I like the shirt. I am sensitive to smells and I can smell a slight odor of the insect repellent. That bothers me a bit and while the sun protection, etc is said to last many, many washings, I do hope that the odor of the pesticide is reduced after a few washings.
The fit was a little smaller than I expected based upon a prior purchase of a shirt with SPF protection - Size Medium. This time I ordered a Large and it still conformed to my body more than I had anticipated.
Having said all that - I like the shirt and I am keeping it!

The fit is great, with the sleeves a little long for comfort while being active. The fabric's light and comfortable, the collar sits well. I wish the buttons were rubber and not hard plastic. But here's the big issue: Why can't anyone put useful pockets in a woman's shirt? This shirt has one small zipper pocket at the bottom of the right side, big enough for a few dollars and a credit card but a credit card in a pocket down there isn't very comfortable and car keys are unthinkably lumpy and pointy for that location. The only other pocket is a single zippered breast pocket, and though it's fair sized, it's located so that if you have any womanly shape at all in the chest area then what you put into that pocket will stick out in a very strange fashion. Why can't women get usable pockets in shirts? Look at a well known travel vest to see how it could be done.

Works perfectly in keeping the bugs away! Very smart looking and I found the roll up sleeve feature handy for our unpredictable weather these days. Pleasantly surprised with the thoughtful details including the foldout collar extension when you flip the collar up! Casual shirt, but I feel like I look very smart in it! I wear it with my zip off No Fly Zone pants and feel that I can go hiking or out to a restaurant and still look great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by NomadTraveler On safari but no mosquitos to test!
I purchased this shirt for a trip to South Africa. We intended to go on safaris and there was a chance that we'd encounter mosquitos carrying malaria. The bug repellent shirt would be really great! So off we went but since it was winter, there were no mosquitos at all. The shirt's bug repellent properties did not receive a test. Nevertheless, I wore the shirt and liked it. It looks good and fits well. I selected khaki. It is most comfy over a T-shirt. Maybe I'll be able to test the repellent properties on the next safari!

This sophisticated no fly zone sunscreen rated shirt is just what I was looking for for an upcoming safari. Size down one size to get the fit you're used to and expect the shirt to be slightly longer than normal.
I am hoping it will wash well and that the seams won't pucker as I've seen with other shirts of this nature.

This looks warm but isn't - the fabric & webbing, make it very comfortable on a sultry day. It runs a little large - enough that I can wear it over a tank top.

Rated 5 out of 5 by NotAFormalGal My new favorite travel shirt
I just took this shirt on a 2-week trip in Asia, and I couldn't be more pleased. It's sized perfectly for being active - enough room in the shoulders, and I love the hip-length. The fabric feels cottony and soft, which made it a perfect choice for wearing on the LOOOONG flights home, plus it still looked neat and unwrinkled when I arrived home 30 hours after leaving Bangkok!
Two special pluses: The tabs to hold rolled-up sleeves actually do hold the sleeves above the elbows, as shown in the website photos! And for travelers, know that you can wash the shirt in the sink, wring it in a towel, hang it up, and it will be dry in a couple of hours, and mostly wrinkle-free. Really!
I wish this same shirt were available without anti-insect treatment, which I don't always need and which adds to the cost. I thought the Tropicwear Shirt would fill that role, but its roll-up-sleeves tabs are 2-1/2 inches longer, leaving the sleeves dangling below the elbow, and the fabric doesn't have the same soft "feel" of the No Fly Zone shirt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by eio39 no ticks, please
The sizing is accurate, with long-enough sleeves; it's comfy, looks good, and it works! I am working on greatly reducing my tick exposure this summer, and have had no bites since I added this shirt to my other "bugless" items of clothing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Navyrider Stylish, functional shirt
I love this shirt! Fit is excellent if you follow the sizing. I usually take M in the tropicwear shirts but S is perfect in this one. (I am 5-9/135) It has a trimmer fit than the tropicwear without the flap pockets and loops. Still has enough room for needed items. The coral color is lovely and versatile. Recently wore it on a trip to Central American as a shirt and layered with a tank. Looked good and not too warm for the climate.
