Rated 3 out of 5 by TallGuyinVA9 Tall size is not for tall guys
Nice looking well reviewed pants I planned to use for early spring hikes on the Blue Ridge Mountains. Disappointed that the 'large tall' were totally too short for my 6'4" lanky frame. Careful of the sizing as they aren't marked 36W/34 or 35L as I had hoped, but rather they have an elastic waste band that is designed to fit many waist sizes and are rather generic in length description on the size chart. The elastic waist was acceptable but it left the rise just an ok fit. I would have tried to make them work but the length was short by at least two inches. So 'large tall' is 36 W 32 L??? That's not tall. The made in China manufacturer needs to have a true waist size and a true length for us corn fed American boys. Peace :)

Am using these as I type this on trip to Alaska. Would not be without them. Have used the camouflage pants for 3 years and they just plain work. For early bow season and especially turkey season they stop bugs cold.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Verified Reviewer Perfect warm-weather travel pants
I liked these pants so much I immediately ordered a second pair. Excellent fit, good color and belt, sun and bug protection, very light, thus relatively cool fabric. I'm taking the bug protection on faith for now, since I haven't put these pants to the test. But if they perform well that way in the clutch, and they turn out to be reasonably durable, I'll never travel for pleasure with any other pants again, unless I need another kind of dressier pant for special occasions. Bean's did an excellent job engineering these pants. They've thought of everything the warm-weather traveller actually needs and provided it all as far as I can tell. Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by DeeJaytoo Great fit
I am a tall female that can not find sport pants that are long enough. These pants have very long legs. I am a 35" inseam and they fit me just fine. Also they are not low rise pants and fit me at the waist nicely. I like the zip off option, and the sun screen and bug proof feature. The pants are very lightweight but keep me warm on cold days, yet are cool on warm days. I like them so well, I ordered a second pair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by SailorMooner High Quality Pants!
Ordered tall size, but found them short anyway. I kept them though because of the quality and wonderful handy details. These pants have body and look smart. The insect feature has worked amazingly. Nice colour and fit, except for the short length.

Rated 4 out of 5 by SailorMooner Wonderful Quality & Details BUT TALL SIZE IS NOT
I am 6'6" tall. I could always rely on LL.Bean for accurate tall size length, but these are ridiculously short for even reg. length. The inseam on the TALL SIZE measures out at ONLY 33"! Shortening these is an easy fix, but looking a little goofy in floods is all I can do. A TALL is usually 36"! Keep this in mind. I WOULD RECOMMEND ORDERING THE TALL 33" INSEAMS ONES FOR THOSE WITH AVERAGE INSEAMS. First weird fit thing for me EVER with Bean. Quality ALWAYS THE BEST!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by TexasPaddler Good bug and UV protection
Light, airy fabric that really helps to block UV, keep cool and appears to keep insects away. Very comfortable against skin. On downside is fabric stains easily. First day out I picked up grease stain. Otherwise I like it just fine.

Rated 4 out of 5 by flemsnopes very good except . . .
These are very good; they fit me well and look good. Two drawbacks, however--available in only one color, a light khaki that will show any and all dirt and stains, and available in only two lengths, 31" (regular) and 34" (tall). For outdoor pants, I like a 30' length.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Mudbat No Fly Zone Pants
I've been wearing these most of the summer, and they are comfortable, wash up well, and wick moisture very effectively. While others around me have been eaten up by biting flies, I've had zero problems. I wear these when I'm working in the garden, when I'm on the water, and when I've been working in my woodlot. Absolutely no trouble with ticks, mosquitoes, or biting flies. Truly great pants, and the coded tabs on the leg zippers are a nice touch. The only downsides are the price, and the inability for them to be altered for length when you order. Cost me another ten bucks (ouch!) to have my tailor shorten the legs so I wasn't walking on the cuffs all the time. Give me inseam choices, and I'll give you 5 stars.
