Rated 5 out of 5áby NEONacho Great toe warmers
I work and play outside in northeast Ohio. Having warm feet makes those times more enjoyable. These toe warmers are great for that. The best feature over other toe warmers is the full adhesive side instead of a strip. That keeps them in place better than other brands. The last thing you want is to take off your boot to reapply or adjust in the cold!

LL Bean stands for top quality in outdoor products. We have bought numerous items over the years, from sweaters to socks, and, of course, toe warmers. This is the first time we have ever been very disappointed with a product. Last year, we bought at least 100 of these toe warmer packs. I still had an old one, and they still worked great after forgetting them for one year in my truck's glove compartment!!! This year's batch is another story. This must be a low cost supplier (I can guess from which corner of the world, certainly not domestic) who tried to save on everything, especially on any materials that make these toe warmers work. They don't do much more than becoming hard, thin, rock-like additions to the soles of your shoes. There's no warming properties in these toe warmers whatsoever. If possible, we would have given zero stars. They were returned, and we ordered toe warmers from a store that carries MADE IN THE USA ones. Very sad how the quality went down on these. I hope the LL Bean Purchasing Department folks read the reviews here and take them to heart. Please, bring the old toe warmers back! We'd rather pay more for good quality than going through the hassle of returning low quality items.

My wife and I are "power users" of toe warmers...me for biking and skiing, and she for horseback riding. I bought L.L. Bean toe warmers in bulk the last few years, and was very pleased. This year, however, the warmers seem to have much less material in them, and we both noticed that they weren't working. I did a simple test with two packs, one from each box that I recently purchased, by opening them and holding in my bare hand, showed very marginal heat. I will return them and not replace. Bean charged the same this year, but I am guessing that these are from a much cheaper supplier. BUMMER!

Rated 2 out of 5áby Lakewoman13 Not the Same as Previous Years!
I've been purchasing Toe Warmers for many years and in the past would have given them a 5 star rating. This year, however, the rating is barely a 2. They warm up some, but not nearly as warm as in previous years. I have to stop and think if I even have them in my shoes, whereas previously, they were almost too warm, if there is such a thing during a cold winter. They also clearly state "6+ hours" and they don't come close to lasting that long. I used to take a still warm toe warmer out of my shoes after 6 hours and now they are cold and hardened after about 2 or 3 hours. I purchased a full pack of 18 and they will be returned!

I really am disappointed in this years product. I depend on these toe warmers when commuting by bike. Last year I bought a box and had no complaints. I used two pair this year from last year's box and they were still good. The first few pairs from this years product hardly warm up at all. Come on, this is LLBean, I expect to get what I paid for! Return them to the store right? I can pay to mail them back or I can spend the same amount driving there and standing in the returns line.
I use internet shopping to save time, and this is not a time saver.

These toe warmers used to be great. They have gone downhill and do not give off much warmth. Not recommended.

Rated 4 out of 5áby joanc Better than most but not 100%
I have been buying these regularly for years and have tried about 3 other common brands too. LL Bean's heat up most consistently; but out of every 18, about 2 or 3 individual warmers (not 2 or 3 pairs) don't get warm enough to be helpful, and once in a while a box may contain even more that don't work. Try to carry an extra pair just in case.

I tried these for skiing several times. They barely got warm before putting them in my boots, then they turrned rock hard and got cold. Ll Bean replaced them but the new ones were just the same, not worth bothering with. I wish they had just given me a refund.

Rated 5 out of 5áby EricaW life savers
The toe warmers are a life saver. I work in a produce company and it has to be kept between 40 and 50 degrees. I work with potatoes and onions. Before my mother found the toe warmers, I would wear 3 pair of socks and my toes would still hert from being so cold. I still wear the 3 pair of socks, and also the toe warmers. If you could sell some finger tip warmers, I would be ordering them also.

These are better, and more effective than the more familiar brands for just about the same amount of money.
Great product. Thank you LL Bean!
