As a Pastor of a local Ministry, I have been looking for jeans that would be Appropriate to Teach in at any of our weekday meetings. I not only wanted them to look appropriate, but fit so as well. I have look and looked and looked and have finally found these jeans! They are slimming indeed, as well as soft and comfortable. I find them very true to size and the four colors are great. I have purchased 3 colors so far and each pair fits perfectly, and the quality is very nice. they are not heavy, they look very neat and on the dressier side. I will purchase 3 other pair so that I make sure I have some in the event they are not available! One thing with jeans that is maddening is they stretch out as you wear them and look sloppy as the day goes on. I have worn these for long stretches of time and they fit the same at the end of a long day as when you first put them on! For all these qualities I give them a 5 star rating!

I love the slimming jeans and am so disappointed to find out they've been discontinued. These are the only jeans I've ever had that are truly comfortable. They look and feel good even on us "apples" without the hugely baggy rear and thighs. Please bring them back!!!

If you loved elephant pants back in '74, you'll love these jeans; personally, I plan to return to them. The flare is bit to the point of silly. I ordered these because I wanted a pair of black jeans that I could wear in Maine fall and winter, but the fabric is too light for that. What I want, L.L. Bean, is a black stretch jean made of substantial denim that is either straight-legged or gently boot cut. This is the second pair of pants I've ordered from you in the past two months that will go back to the store because the legs are flared so widely.

I bought these jeans in black about 2 years ago. The thing I like best is that they kept their dark black color wash after wash. I wash them on cold with a liquid detergent. And I dry them in the dryer. I learned long ago that the only pants that suit my pear-shaped figure have to fit well in the waist, hip, and thighs - and these do just that.
I'm lucky to find 2 out of 3, plus these fit well in the usually overlooked thigh area.
The only problem I've had is that whenever I try to buy another pair or 2 in black, they're all sold out!
I really like the fit of these jeans in the 3 areas described, so I hope you'll continue to have them. I actually don't care how the bottom of the leg is finished, as long as the thigh, hips, and waist fit, so even if you changed the lower leg, that would be OK. I also like the light-weightedness of the fabric.

These jeans are really flattering! I'm large in the hips, so I can use any optical illusions in that area. They're comfortable, too. I'm so pleased with them, and thinking about ordering them in another color. I bought the "dark authentic" and I just love them. I get compliments every time I wear then.

I had purchased a pair of stretch demin jeans previously. Love them! These were not those jeans! Too long, rode too low....just couldn't make them work....Sent them back the next day..

I bought these (4 pair) the first year they were offered and absolutely loved them. Comfortable, fit perfectly, washed great, didn't stretch out. Ordered them again about a year or so later and found that the fit had changed to "Favorite Fit". Now the waist is enormous and the rise is much too long. The legs fit the same, length is good. But with having to cinch them so much with a belt in order to not have a gaping waist and a rise that doesn't look ridiculously low, they're just too uncomfortable to wear anymore. I even tried wearing a smaller size, and still the waist and rise were out of sync. If the fit ever goes back to the original I'll order again.

The seat area fit great but it wasn't proportionate to the legs which were loose. They made me look dumpy even though they were a size 6 tall.
I am sorry these didn't work out but will try the 1912 jeans, hoping for a straighter, tighter leg look.
