These pants run really big and I am returning mine. Order a size down and expect no shrinkage with washing them.
also the legs are too full and long.

Rated 5 out of 5 by InternationalTexan Super Comfy!
I've had these for a few months now and I love them as much as when I first got them. They're super-soft and snuggly. I have another couple of pairs of similar pants from a year or two ago, and those are a bit heavier than these, but these are softer. Both are great in their own ways.
I'm 5'4" and the regular length has been fine. I'm not sure how the petites would have fit, but I don't feel like the regular length is too long.
The pockets are a nice touch and are handy for stashing my phone while I'm working around the house. These are great for lounging around at home or even for running some errands. You won't look super-fashionable, but you won't be too much of a slob either.

These pants are incredibly soft??Lovely?.
I ordered 2 pair in Gray in Petite medium , and the waist came up to my chest and they were way too long and full in the legs. Huge?.
The strange thing is that the Navy ones fit perfectly and I love them!
Same pants, different fit in a different color! I plan to order another pair in the navy.
Also I would prefer a straight leg??...

Rated 3 out of 5 by Cefy comfortable for spring weather only ,not wintert
I have been a faithful and satisfied customer of llbean with products and return policybut one product I'm not happy is the sweatpants ......softness is good but it's not warm enough to handle the cold weather . Just good for spring like weather .I didn't intend to return it ,coz I'll use it in the house or during spring .Wish in the future you'll have a warmer sweatpants.Thank you .

Rated 2 out of 5 by Antero Waistline style unsatisfactory.
It appears the wide, form fitting waistband style is now in, because it has now popped up in the silk long underwear as well as outerwear garments. There is no "wiggle room" for slight differences in fit, despite the statement that the draw string provides flexibility. If you pull the draw string, the entire broad band waist puckers and bunches, when it is clear that it is meant to lie flat. I have twice ordered items with this style, and had to return both. I conclude it is the style, not the particular garment and will never order another item designed this way.

Rated 1 out of 5 by OddComment Ultrasoft Pants are Anything But
These pants were so bad, I almost wonder whether they sent me the wrong ones. They are very scratchy inside, not soft at all. They feel like plastic.
I buy a lot of LL Bean clothes, and usually like the items I get. The quality is going down hill, though, and these pants are sad examples of cheap-feeling material.

Rated 5 out of 5 by GeeVeeDub Ever so soft
I was looking for pocketed knit pants that are not too high in the rise after some disappointment with other pants I had ordered. The helpful LL Bean clerk customer service rep suggested these. I was at first skeptical since I was not looking for a 'sweat.' I work in a hospital setting as a doula and spend many long active hours and like to look fresh and put together on the birth day.
I took these pants on a whim having always been curious about 'French Terry' and because they had a lower rise than others I had been looking at. As well, I reasoned even if they weren't suitable for my primary goal they possibly could be right for cuddling up ' the morning after the night before.' My decision was swayed by the sale price for the navy colour.
French terry might leave one to believe these pants would be bulky-not so! The fine cotton knit has a stitch that carries behind giving the fabric depth without bulk. The knit skims my body without clinging, but gives a nice silhouette. They feel substantial and while not heavy, not light like tshirt material or cheap PJ knit. The pockets are adequate and the wide elastic supportive and comfy. The drawstring seems unnecessary but could be useful in an exercise situation. They are not low rise and still sit above my navel. Although I am 5'9" the length is adequate and I hope will remain so with machine washing and the dryer. BUT saving the best to last these are unbelievably soft for a substantial garment! The outside surface makes me want to stroke my own leg! When wearing them around the house I have stopped a few times to wonder at how good they feel on my skin! I really am happy with this purchase and will certainly consider other garments in the fabric . I plan to order these pants for my mom as well.

Needing comfortable "hack around" pants, I bought these and they were HUGE! Choosing to fix them myself rather than return them, they became just what I had been looking for. I bought another pair that was a size smaller and they fit perfectly. Still too long, of course, for me at 5'3". The fabric is supersoft and thicker than expected. The pant bottoms are too wide, they have a bit of a PJ feel to them.
