Rated 5 out of 5 by Sizes Get This While You Can
Writing from Tennessee here where the weather is kinda strange this year. 20 degrees in November and 67 degrees in early January. I Just received the jacket today and haven't had the chance obviously to run in it. BUT, I have worn it outside in drizzling rain at about 37 degrees and it's very comfortable. I think it will probably be ok in lower temps even with just a technical shirt or base layer beneath. I wish I'd found this jacket -- even for causal wear -- prior to spending small fortunes on an Arc'teryx Atom LT jacket and an Arc'teryx Atom AR jacket. Having said that, those jackets are supposed to be warm, but not wind or water resistant, and not for running. And I love Arc'teryx products. I have Sporthill running pants, too. I recommend them as well. I guess I'd say there's no better brand than Sporthill for cold weather running. Running and cross country skiing apparel is their specialty. Be it warm or cold weather.

Nice looking coat and a good fit. Is it a good ski jacket? I won't know until our first ski trip this season. The side vents are a good idea. Jackets that do not have these vents are not good for skiers. If this turns out NOT to be a good coat for skiing, rest assured I will write to this forum about it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Skier12 Great jacket
I use it while cross country skiing and biking on days at around or just below freezing. My normal size is a Large and the fit was fine. However, the neck seems a bit small as the zipper won't go up all the way. Comfortable, well made, windproof, not too warm, pockets are fine, and the cuffs seal out the weather. Haven't been caught in the rain yet so can't comment on that. Recommended for outdoor activities.

Rated 2 out of 5 by phillykim sized small and too thin
I was hoping for a thicker jacket (for skiing). I ordered a Medium and it was too small for my husband, who usually wears a S/M. I will be returning it.

This will be fine for running--on windy days below 20 degrees--otherwise too warm. Also wear it after running when my running friend and I have coffee & I'm still cooling off. Hood should be more substantial for rain. Good looking jacket though--sleeves seal wind well--snug fleece lining AND velcro strap. Nylon lining in sleeve at wrist way too hot though.

Rated 4 out of 5 by AncientBiker Good medium-weight jacket
This is a good-quality jacket which should protect against moderately cold weather. The color is somewhat muted compared to the picture, so this doesn't replace the International Orange bulky jacket I've been using for bicycling in very cold weather. The hood is convenient and effective. Very good value.
