Rated 1 out of 5 by LDvt2 silk base layer
The quality has changed since I last bought this product. It is so thin you can almost see through it, pilled up with in a week half the thickness of past silks. Over priced even when I used my 10.00 of coupon

Excellent product, comfortable, long-lasting, easy to pack taking very little room, and so wonderful to have when weather is unpredictable!

I'm glad I got them at half price, they have a thin gauge to the material thus not that great in cold weather. There's much better products out there for a base layer. This silk product may be better in shoulder summer and fall season,s but no way in Canadian winters

Rated 2 out of 5 by moparman Sheer weight not silk weight
The current product is a stepbackwards in quality from the silk weight shirts and long johns from 3- 4 years ago. The material is more sheer than silk weight. Silk weight garments are a great base layer but not as currently manufactured. Plese go back to the supplier from 4 years ago.

Thin, lightweight and comfortable, allows me to wear a wool long sleeve shirt with ease. Great under layer without being excessively warm. Would buy it again.

The silk underwear shirt is as nice as advertised. It's super soft, warm, and a very comfortable thin liner for wearing under any shirt. The only drawback is the somewhat stiff and large tag in the crewneck. I would prfer tat it was located on the lower side of the shirt where it would increase the comfort of an already nice shirt.

This is my second silk base layer under garment. I use a merino wool long sleeve jersey on top of the silk and a Bean Upland shirt for the outer layer. This combination has served me well in temperatures from 60 degrees to 25 degrees. The silk feels great and wicks away the perspiration on the 60 degree days. I put a minimum of 4-6 miles in during a day of bird hunting.
