They are soft, light but surprisingly warm. I wear them under my pants at work (park ranger), and also hiking on the weekends. I wear a 4 in LLBean shorts and the small fits great. They were huge .. came up to my bra and were probably more like size 14! Unfortunately it has been warm and I didn't open for awhile. I am going to TRY to return them. They were ridiculously LARGE! Rated 5 out of 5�by Austrianpine Great if you like the shorter length I bought these for my sister whose about 5'4" so I thought the capris style would be the right length since the regular length are too long for her but they were a bit too short in her opinion but if you like the capris version they're really nice if that's the length you want. They are beautifully thin and yet warm. I have two pair in the regular length, love them and have had them for years. January 11, 2012

Rated 5 out of 5�by TC219101 Just a little warmth that insulates Actually, I'm an "indoor" person but to get from indoors at home to indoors at work, requires some being outdoors. These Silk Pointelle Capris really do insulate. When a nasty wind wants to chill to the bone, these Silk Pointelle Capris keep my legs comfortable. When I get to work, the temperature in the building is up & down, but I don't get uncomfortable or too warm. Trying to wear heavier clothing in the winter does not work for me being indoors all day, so I can wear the same slacks year round; just a little light insulation against the cutting wind that is not uncomfortable the whole day through. If the day grows warm, they are still comfy because they breathe. The capri length makes it possible to wear them under skirts to add to versatility. I have three pairs! November 30, 2011

These capris fit well and because of the length don't show beneath my slacks. One caveat: I think they run a bit small. I wear a size 8 and ordered a small, which was too tight. The medium is much better. October 26, 2011
