Purchased 2 of these (white & black) as a gift for a friend who already has and loves her red one. They are so soft, comfy and warm enough for Wyoming winters. More like a jacket than a shirt and look really nice over Bean turtle necks. Appropriate for lounging in the cabin or wearing to work. Just wish they came in petite sizes. I would order one in every color for myself but the regular sizes (I tried them on) are too long in sleeve and overall body length for my 5'2" frame. The price was good and they seem like they will last a long time.

This is the comfort shirt for layering or not. I have 4 of these now I think. The colors are gorgeous, and the softness can't be beat.
I like to throw one of these on when I walk down to the beach to watch the sunset. It's the perfect weight, and I can open it up when I'm warmer on the way back to the house.
Please just make more colors!

I love my Rose Mist corduroy big shirt! Comfy, nice looking, pretty color, good fit (when new - see below)!
But, LL Bean, listen please... You sold out of this shirt in Sea Thistle almost immediately after I received the catalog where it was first listed. This should be re-stocked ASAP. Please.
One comment about the fit. I find the shoulders a bit skimpy. I normally wear a Misses large in any of the LL Bean shirts. The large big shirt is mostly roomy, as I would expect. Except the shoulders. Also, I hope it doesn't shrink, because otherwise the sleeves will be too short.

The shirt fits as expected and the feel of the fabric is nice. I ordered Titdal Teal, expecting it to be a rich, deep teal color. The color would more accurately be described as light blue or robin's egg blue. It's very pastel and doesn't look at all like the picture.

Through the years I have ordered eight of the big shirts and love them! I always receive compliments on them and people want to know where to get them. They wash so nice and are perfect to wear any time. I use them as a jacket most times and love the comfort. I would love to see many more color selections for the plus sizes though, seems you run out of those pretty fast. The quality of the product is excellent, I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone. Thank you for keeping these in your catalog.

I have wanted to buy one of these shirts for years and finally was able to.I started off with 2 and now have 8 and want more!
Would love to have the Chocolate Brown and a Soft Gray or even Charcoal gray would be nice.
I am anxiously waiting to see what the fall colors are.
I am 5'8'' and find the sleeves could be an inch longer but love them anyhow.

I've got six of these, so I obviously love them - especially their flattering drape on us more 'voluptuous' women - but I ALWAYS have to wear them with the sleeves rolled up because the sleeves are two inches too short. Not everyone who is a plus is short, you know!

I do love these shirts. They are so soft, warm and cozy. They are a very casual shirt and not really a shirt I can dress in. I wear mine around the house or to run to the store in the cooler months. I ordered 3 different colors many years ago and the material and style are the same. They do run large. I ordered the M and would normally wear a large. It is plenty big enough to wear a turtle neck under or a light sweater. They wash well over and over again.

I own several of these shirts and I absolutely love them! However, I ordered 2 more recently and ended up sending both back. Issue 1) Sizing is inconsistent. I ordered the same size as the last 2 shirts I had bought and this year's version was too small. 2) Several years ago there was a color, brick red, which I absolutely love. I was hoping that this year's trillium red would be a similar color. It is not. It should have been called coral pink, which is not what I was looking for. I will try again in another year and hope for better luck.

Initially I was a little worried about the issue of arm length, but I went ahead and ordered one (a beautiful shade of dark green) and I am so glad I did! True, the arm length was just a tad too short, but it wasn't a major problem. With some trepidation I tosses it into the laundry but it launders beautifully - no shrinking! All together a nearly perfect shirt with a beautiful drape and is super comfortable- great colors too. I'll definitely be purchasing another one (and maybe another ;P ) soon.
