Rated 3 out of 5 by moonbeam7 warm, but could be better
Love the warmth; getting used to the boy plaid, especially with the raspberry robe to tone them down, but why can't they put a real waistband width and drawstring on the pajamas. It's a cost cutter to do the existing thin elastic waist band, but they do not last long, nor are adjustable. If the waist band wears out, I am returning them for repair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by IngridC Warm and comfortable
These pajamas are warm and incredibly comfortable. I put them on as soon as I get home every day and sometimes on weekends wear them all day long. However, they run large--I usually wear a size 2-4, but got the XXS. My only complaint is that they don't have any pockets!

Bottoms fit great! (A five star) Top is size smaller (Thus the three star). Wish I could purchase the bottoms separately. The fabric is soft yet strong enough to endure many washings. I don't wear the top, just the bottoms. I would only recommend to friend if small in the top.

Rated 5 out of 5 by LakeMImom Gets Even Softer With Age
I bought this pajama set, women's nightgowns and the matching men's pajamas for Christmas 2014 gifts. We all wore them again when we gathered for Christmas 2015. Family members from Michigan and California alike shared that we had all wore our LL Bean nightgowns and pajamas a lot in the year between the holidays. There is no sign of wear. In fact, all of the sleepwear got softer and better with age. Highly recommend, outstanding product!

I was excited to get these PJs after my daughter told me how much she liked hers. When I tried them on I was happy that the arms and legs were long enough for me since I have a 36" inseam. However, the chest is tight and after washing, the set shrunk just a little, so now the arms and legs aren't long enough. I would return them, but I sewed the front up so it wouldn't gap. I recommend that you buy a size or two larger.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Fred224 How About a Tall Option??
I have been wearing these since buying them for Christmas, and was sceptical as I am nearly 6 feet tall, and very hippy!! The flannel is heavy enough as I am in my fifties and you know what that entails! The sleeves are just long enough but pants too short, so I will likely return them. And for some reason, there is hanging loop on the pants but not the top!! This means you will get a little hook-dent behind your neck!!
If only LLBean would offer Tall in many more items!! There are a lot of us out here, you know!

Rated 4 out of 5 by TheMoog Good but not great
I'd like to think that I have some experience when shopping for PJs- after all, I've been wearing them all my life.... So, I'd say that these LL Bean flannel PJ's are good but just barely miss the mark.
~Doesn't rip easily even with all my awkward wiggling around on the couch
~Not too warm
~Much softer than the men's PJs
~Pocket on the top
~ NO POCKETS ON BOTTOMS!!!! What the heckkkkk???!??! Probably my most negative impression of this set. I put them on and immediately tried to put my phone in my pocket, but there was no where to put it!!!! (Except on my chest, which is awkward when you have breasts). The men's PJ bottoms have pockets, why don't we??? I wanted to put my phone, some tissues, etc in a pocket but was denied. It was tragic =/
~ The buttons don't seem to be sized correctly. That is, the button is about 1/2 the size of the hole when it should be about 2/3, so the buttons slip out easily and my shirt comes undone often. That said, I put on a waffle t-shirt top instead of my flannel top when walking around the house.
~The just seem... plain. No nifty little designs around the collar, etc. It honestly looks like I could purchase a flannel top sheet from LL Bean and make my own PJs to match these.
Overall: You might be better off purchasing the men's bottoms and a waffle type top. It's definitely a cute set, and durable, but not really "laze around the house, make breakfast, and clean up the dishes but make sure you have your phone in case your mother-in-law calls to say hello to the kids who by the way have the sniffles and need the tissues that aren't in your pocket" kind of PJs.
But if you want to sleep in them, by all means do so because they are wicked comfortable!

Rated 5 out of 5 by mydoghasfleece Best petite flannel pajamas!
Thank you LLB for providing good quality flannel pajamas in petite sizing. I ordered two pairs of these and still have a couple of pairs from years past (holding up well through many washes). Thanks for keeping your traditional styling with a comfortable fit and offering these pjs in XXS and XS. It would be wonderful if you would offer petite pajama sets or pajama pants in cotton jersey for warmer weather. It is so difficult to find good quality petite sleepwear these days so please consider adding them to your product line.

Rated 3 out of 5 by friendfromtheislands Unhappy with lightweight flannel
I was unhappy with the cut that was too tight in the bust (size XL), and I was very unhappy with the lightweight flannel. I did not feel it would keep me warm at all during a typical East Coast winter. Obviously people have different preferences, but I was wondering if LL Bean could issue several types of pajamas of various weights. I did feel the fabric was good quality and would wash well.
