Rated 3 out of 5 by 2wheels4cache men's is more luxurious
Last winter, my husband got the Men's Scotch Plaid Flannel Robe, Lined. The colors are bright, and lining is luxurious, almost like the texture of velveteen. I thought this was the women's equivalent, but it is not.
The outer fabric is not as thick. The colors are not as bright. The women's robe (brand new) looks faded compared to the men's (with a year of wearing and washing). The lining on the women's is the texture of the inside of a sweat shirt, not the smooth luxurious looking and feeling of the men's lining. Maybe the supplier has changed and the men's is different this year, too.
I decided for now to keep it and see how if feels when the weather turns cold this month. If it is warm I will keep it If you have not seen the men's version, and had an expectation that this would be as nice, you will not be disappointed

Rated 5 out of 5 by suz1120 I LOVE this robe!!!
I was looking for a robe I could wear in the late evenings and early mornings so I could lower my thermostat (and heating bills) during the winter.
I am 5'0" and 120 lbs. The petite small is perfect for me - with plenty of overlap (almost underarm to underarm) and the length is great - about 3 inches off the floor. It is warm, soft, cozy and comfortable. It also washes and dries well.
The ONLY negative I can list is that the belt, once wrinkled, stays that way - it really needs to be ironed. The robe, however, doesn't and takes my daily abuse well.
The most expensive robe I ever bought and worth every cent. I'll be back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by tatteredtutu Very nice!
After pouring over the mixed reviews I decided to pull the trigger with a generous coupon offer. I'm so glad I did. I ordered the size S and to me it is TTS. I'm 5 foot 5 and 125. I'm longer waisted and the belt hits perfectly at my natural waistline. The sleeve length is normal to me as I do hate really long sleeves on a robe as they get in to everything from water at the sink to you name it. It is a bit boxy at the top, but when I put my arms out in front of me straight (as in pointing straight ahead) the shoulders fit nicely so could not have sized down! The flannel is soft and the inside is cozy. As for the shoulder seam many talk about hanging way down, it is off my shoulder about 2" or so and not waaaay off the shoulder. I'm happy with it even though the upper portion is slightly boxy which could be in part due to the sherpa lining this doesn't fall like a regular robe. I love it and the color is beautiful. I'm not a person that wears a lot of color (blacks, beiges, whites, navy, gray....) I love this color on dark hair and eyes it's so nice! I recommend it highly!

this robe was too big - very boxy - I ordered a medium and it was huge- I am 5'6 and it was almost to the floor and the shoulders were inches off.
I returned it -

Rated 5 out of 5 by RobinBoBobbin Get a bigger size
Got this for my mom, she's 5'3" and 150lbs. Small everywhere but her tummy. She normally wears a Medium, but I knew she'd want this robe to wrap around her nicely, so I got the XXL. It fits her great, although she does have to roll the sleeves back once. It almost brushes the floor, too, which I consider a plus.
I haven't washed it yet, if it shrinks, I'll be sure and come back to edit my review.
Too bad this doesn't come in Plus sizes or I'd get one for myself.

I'm 5'2, 122lbs and I ordered the Petite Small. The underarms hang so low that it is extremely uncomfortable and hard to do things that involves moving my arms up past my waist. I'm very disappointed.I don't understand why it is cut this way.

I gave this as a gift to my niece before the weather gets really cold and she is thrilled with it. Immediately put it on and wore it during the birthday party, says it is just perfect, looks cute on so all is well. Nice construction and material per the young lady.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Guysgurl Worked great for me!
I am 5' 3 1/2", 105 lbs with a small frame. After reading many of the reviews, I was unsure of the size that would work best for me. I decided on the x-small petite. It is a perfect fit for my needs. It comes to just below mid-calf, which I like so it doesn't get all tangled up in my slippers. The sleeves come to my wrist. Not too short and not too long. Any longer and I would need to roll them up when working in kitchen or washing up, etc. But they aren't so short that they annoy me. I could have extra length if I undid the cuff. It would require taking the tacking stitching out that's just at the inside seam. But I don't want the extra length. The shoulders fit like a normal robe would. They don't fit like a shirt, they do drop some, but I expect that for a robe. Every other robe I own (from a variety of stores) has the same drop in the shoulders. The tie at the waist hits me perfectly too. It's cozy warm and perfect in the cool morning before the furnace temp goes up. Or after a shower, it keeps me plenty warm. I couldn't be happier with this robe! I watched last year and couldn't decide on whether to get it or not. When I finally decided to, they were sold out. I'm so glad I snagged one this year! It will be my favorite this coming winter I can tell!

Rated 3 out of 5 by sharon1250 Its OK
While I was looking forward to receiving this robe I am a bit disappointed. The fleece is OK but the flannel is not soft at all. For the money paid I feel it should be of better quality. But it fits (difficult for me at 4'10") and after having it on for just a few minutes I had to take it off because I was getting too warm - and that's why I bought it, to be warm. So while not quite perfect it appears that it will do its job. I am going to keep it.
