I ordered this blazer in Charcoal Herringbone last year. I loved it so much that I decided to get another one this year. I wanted the Deepest Brown Tweed Plaid but waited too long and it was out of stock so I "settled" for the Vintage Sage but I am more than pleased with this selection. LL Bean arrives at my door within a few days of placing an order. These blazers are folded up and packaged in a plastic bag but are free of wrinkles and ready to wear. I find the sizing to be true and they fit like they were tailor made for me. The quality is outstanding and well worth the price. These blazers are so versatile that I wear them with skirts or pants to work as well as with jeans for casual.

Very disappointed with this blazer. The plaid does not match up on the seams. For the price of this blazer I expected much more. I will return this.

I totally agree with all the complaints about the jacket and the label. I got hot, sweaty, and furious trying to get it off! It was sewn on so firmly that I kept wondering whether LLBean really intended for the wearer to be a crass advertisement, sporting that thing on the sleeve. I wasn't at all sure I was going to be able to get it off without ruining the jacket. I was planning to wear the jacket the next morning, and I ended up going to bed 45 minutes late and too annoyed to go to sleep. I don't think the tailoring of the jacket or the fabric are worth the price; I kept the jacket because there was no going back after removing that horrible label - although I should have returned it.

I was so excited to get this blazer for my birthday. It's nice and comfy, not as structured as other blazers I have. Love the color (got the Cherry). But Jiminy Crickets, the label on the sleeve is a nightmare to get off. Stitches are tiny, sewn tightly, hard to get a seem ripper underneath- had to use an exact-o blade! Even if I was careful not to cut the jacket, when I went to pull the black thread out it ended up pulling the thread of the weave structure of the jacket. Frustrating!!! I swear it took me 30 mins to get the label off. Love except for the sleeve label.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Formerflatlander Despite the miserable label, I love this blazer!
Broad shoulders, chesty, usually get XL or sz 16. Bought L after reading reviews. Perfect fit! Plaid well matched. Been looking for this blazer for a long time. Worth the wait. A real classic and certainly priced well. The vent had a nice little whip stitch to keep it closed until purchase. Note to buyer or merchandiser: please require vendors to use same if they must put their label on a sleeve!

Rated 2 out of 5 by thankxamillion So disappointing...
I really wanted to love this jacket...but the fact is that the jacket is too short and too wide for me. I thought it could have used 2 extra inches on the length and more tapering through the back. It was shaped like a box.
You missed the mark on this one. Too bad.

I was so looking forward to receiving this jacket. When I opened the package, I was encouraged by the soft fabric and the sage green color. The fit was good too. So what's the problem? The plaid was not matched on the right side, although it was on the left, and in the back. This is just poor workmanship, and something I do not expect from LLB. I returned it the same day. I thought about an exchange, but there'd be no assurance that another jacket would be any different. A real shame.

I am a plus size lady and a frequent ll bean shopper.I have a problem with blazers and jackets fitting comfortably but this was perfect. I am very disappointed with the manufacture's tag sewn on the sleeve. I am having a very hard time getting it off and considering returning the blazer.

Rated 3 out of 5 by ladyhancock Great EXCEPT for the label on the sleeve...
...you'd better have 20/20 vision, a quality seam ripper and at least a 10 X magnifying glass because the stitches are so small, close together and overly tight it's almost impossible to take the label off without pulling the woolen threads of the blazer. Plan ahead before you wear it for the first time.
