these shoes are not meant for wide feet at all .It gives enough heel .looks good with khakis, jeans and leggings too.I am happy with my pair of shoes .

I really wanted to like these Mary Janes, but I purchased them to wear to work and I stand on my feet all day and that wasn't going to happen in these shoes. The toe box is really slanted on the side, it goes at a sharp angle so my toes were jammed into the front of the shoe even though I ordered my regular size. If I had ordered a larger size I don't think it would help because then I think the shoe would slip off of the ankle. My second toe is longer than my big toe so the profile of the shoes wasnt going to work for me. Also they seem to not have a lot of "substance" for such an expensive shoe. It feels like a slipper and I don't feel like my feet would be very well protected. If you step on a rock, the shoe wouldn't protect you. It would hurt the bottom of your foot. I guess they are going for the bare foot feel. I feel they were overpriced and I am disappointed but I have returned them and LL Bean has given me my refund is quick fashion. Love LL Bean Comfort Mocs and I am going to stick to those.

I absolutely love these shoes! Excellent fit, comfort, good-looking for any occasion! I've never paid $90 for a pair of shoes, however, I'd read several reviews, and just went ahead and ordered them. I'd hope to always have an option to get this same type of shoes if I ever wear mine out! Don't expect that to happen anytime soon. Do wish so much they came in red...these exact ones...I'd purchase them in a heartbeat!

These were what I looked for, the shoe part was flexible, but the
cross strap was much too short, exposed parts caught on other
clothing, very annoying, and disappointing. So sorry because
were what I needed, flexible, attractive.Missed the boat, should be
available in W, not just B/M. Also should be available in colors beside black (too wintry). Taupe, grey, burgundy, rust, blue, etc.

I love these shoes.I have trouble with tripping & falling but with these on I feel so secure. They feel like gloves for your feet.

These are great casual shoes. I don't think I could wear them to work, but they are great evening and weekend shoes. They give just enough support to cradle your foot, but and very light and stretchy. The conform to your feet and you feel like you aren't wearing shoes while wearing these. Expensive- but very well make and should last a long time.

If I had to wear only 1 pair of shoes for the rest of my LIFE this would be the pair. They are incredibly comfortable. The size/fit is perfect to my shoe size.
Given as a gift and intended to be worn for work only, the fit is so comfy that I wear them around the house, out for errands, short walks for exercise and working in the yard and garden.
I would not hesitate to wear with a dress, skirt, casual slacks, shorts.
I'm not sure what makes them so comfy - the fit is like a glove but for the foot.
Wonderful shoes, LL Bean please don't stop carrying this shoe - its a winner!

These shoes are super comfortable. I was a little concerned when I first ordered about the support. I talked to a representative from LL Bean and received wonderful information. I decided to order and try them. Even though there is no shank in the shoe, they still offer enough support. Even though they are casual, they look fine with dressy casual clothes. They accent any dress style. Sizing is right on.
