I purchased some boots likes these years ago, and have loved them and looked forward to wearing them. I use them for tough Kansas winters. We farm and they are great for mud, snow and whatever. I even use them in the garden. Easy on and off and yet they don't slip. They are nice for indoors, as I used them for work and was often outside on my job. They are warm for outdoors as well and very comfortable. I can walk in them and they stay on in our mud we sometimes have around here.
I need to go to another size and will look forward to the 'new' design and fit. Thanks 'Bean' have never been disappointed in your products. Keep up the good work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by AgentAva My puppy and I love these boots!
I bought a pair of these in 2008 for commuting in DC, but then the drought showed up and I rarely wore them - until last winter, when we adopted a puppy who needs walking in all kinds of weather. These shoes have held up to snow after snow and rain for days. The mouth of the shoe is a little narrow, as others have commented, but I found turning my foot just a little bit works, and once they're on, they're not tight at all. I've worn them with light hosiery, with running socks, and with wool ragg socks - they're comfortable over a couple of miles, and my feet stay dry. Really good boots!

Rated 4 out of 5 by monroelibrarian comforable once on
I needed to replace a pair of shoes that I wore in cold and wet weather that I had for years. While these don't lace like my old, once they are on, they are even more comfortable. Not too warm in a building and very warm out, I wore them all day. They are a little tight getting them on, but are easy to get off. My co-workers liked the looks as much I do. I just wished they came in my favorite color of purple.

Rated 4 out of 5 by sheels excellent foot coverings for the winter of 2014
I wouldn't call these "shoes" so much as low cut boots, but I really do like them. They seem to provide a lot of protection from the elements. Prior reviews criticized the fit as being big, but that is what I expect in bad weather boots. The snug fit is perfect to keep out the ice and snow.
Perfect storm chasers.

Rated 4 out of 5 by piratewalker Just right for Cape Cod winter weather
These shoes are exactly what I expected. They are my go to shoes for when we are having a rain storm, or snow showers with just a few inches of snow. I walk my dog 3 times a day, each time for at least 30 to 45 minutes time. I was in need of a shoe that would keep my feet dry and warm, and these shoes deliver just that.

I settled on this shoe after trying on 2 sizes of the storm chaser clogs that slipped on my heels badly.I wear a 71/2 or 8 and ordered the 8 in this. They slip just a little bit, but it doesn't bother me to wear them. I wore them all day the other day when we had snow and they were very comfortable.

Great quality! Very happy with these after I got the right size. These run a little on the narrow side so order up.

Rated 2 out of 5 by CWONYC Ankle opening too tight
I love the idea of these shoes, but could hardly get them on - barefoot. I never would get them on over socks. And I have a AAA foot. The ankle opening is extremely tight and narrow.
Once I got the shoes on, they seemed comfortable, although shorter than I would assume for the sizing. And I'm sure they would be waterproof. But I could never deal with the aggravation of getting them on. Back they go...

As expected, the LL Bean waterproof boots/shoes are comfortable and not bad looking either.

I purchased the womens storm chasers slip on and I love them. In the worst weather they kept my feet warm and they're very comfortable. A little pricey for my budget but I'm glad I have them.
